The present invention generally relates to containers and more specifically to a lipstick case with memory stick holder.
Most lipstick cases are the size of a tube of lipstick. A flash drive/memory stick is considerably smaller. Combining the two into one product will result in storage for both in a convenient and compact size.
Professional women use both these products and need easy access to both.
Not having access to your computer files or being able to transfer computer files to another computer easily and without internet access is an inconvenience. Both floppy and compact discs are also inconvenient. Flash drives and internet file transfer are preferred methods of sharing and temporarily storing data. Therefore, combining the two products could produce a very convenient and marketable product.
As can be seen, there is a need to combine a beauty product with a technical accessory.
In one aspect of the present invention, a system includes a lipstick case; and a memory stick with case; wherein, when the memory stick is not in use, the lipstick case retains the memory stick.
In another aspect of the present invention, a device includes a first case adapted to retain a beauty product; and a second case adapted to retain a technical accessory.
In yet another aspect of the present invention, a device to retain lipstick and a memory stick includes a first case adapted to retain the lipstick; a mirror retained in the first case; a closure to releasably close the first case around the lipstick and the mirror; and a second case adapted to retain the memory stick.
These and other features, aspects and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings, description and claims.
The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.
Various inventive features are described below that can each be used independently of one another or in combination with other features. However, any single inventive feature may not address any of the problems discussed above or may only address one of the problems discussed above. Further, one or more of the problems discussed above may not be fully addressed by any of the features described below.
An embodiment of the invention may allow for easy transport of, and access to, computer files by combining a memory stick (aka flash drive) with a commonly used product, specifically, lipstick. An embodiment of the present invention generally relates to a lipstick container and, more specifically, to a lipstick case with memory stick or flash drive and holder combined into one easily transported product.
Broadly, an embodiment of the present invention may generally allow easy transport of data files and information with a product that is used everyday.
Embodiments of the present invention may combine a beauty product with a technical accessory.
An embodiment may have two components, so that lipstick and memory stick/flash drive may each have their own cases. The embodiment may combine both the components and their cases into one product.
An embodiment of the present invention may include a lipstick case and memory stick. A lipstick case may generally be 3 in. by 1.5 in., and include a mirror on the top flap that snaps shut and holds one tube of lipstick. A modest size may make it easy to transport in a purse, cell phone case, or even a pocket. Adding a memory stick to may not make the case significantly bigger, but may give it another purpose and support the professional woman or female student.
An embodiment of the lipstick case may include a memory stick/flash drive that can be stored within the lipstick case while not in use. The memory stick compartment fits into the back of lipstick case, making the case just slightly bit larger, yet still convenient and wieldy.
An embodiment of a lipstick case may be manufactured with an opening flap used to close and open it. The inside of the flap has a mirror on it. The cases are approximately 3 to 3.5 inches long; just large enough to hold a tube of lipstick and paper currency. This new product combines two “on the go” items into one convenient case that is easy to carry.
As depicted in
In an embodiment, the memory stick could also be combined with a purse or compact mirror, a glasses case, a cigarette case or a cell phone case. Lipstick may be the most universally used of the aforementioned products, and it may be the smallest.
An embodiment of the invention may be used to carry one's memory stick and lipstick with one at all times, even in the smallest handbag, or in a small phone or PDA case, or even in a pocket.
It should be understood, of course, that the foregoing relates to exemplary embodiments of the invention and that modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
