Claims
- 1. The process for preparing a cured resin comprising reacting a polyphenolic compound with a composition having a melting point below 100.degree. C., said composition consisting of more than two compounds having the formula ##STR3## wherein A represents a cyclic or acyclic aliphatic or substituted cyclic or acyclic aliphatic moiety having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or an aromatic mono-, or multi-nuclear or aliphatic substituted aryl residue having from 6 to 20 carbon atoms,
- R independently represents H, CH.sub.3, CH.sub.2 CH.sub.3 or C.sub.6 H.sub.5,
- R.sup.1 independently represents H or CH.sub.3,
- R.sup.2 independently represents H or CH.sub.3, and
- x represents an integer of from 0 to 2.
- 2. The process of claim 1 wherein the polyphenolic compound is a phenol-formaldehyde condensation product.
