Claims
- 1. An acidic anticorrosion solution which comprises approximately by weight:
- (a) 0.1 to 0.5% of phosphoric acid;
- (b) 0.5% to 4.0% of a nitrogen containing organic compound having the formula: ##STR5## wherein R.sub.1 is a methyl group and R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 are independently selected from the group consisting of CH.sub.3, C.sub.2 H.sub.5, CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Y and CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Y, wherein Y is selected from the group consisting of Cl, Br, CO.sub.2 H, (CH.sub.2 O).sub.n OH, wherein n is 1 to 10 and OH, and X.sup.- is selected from the group consisting of Cl, Br, and methosulfate; and
- (c) the balance being water, wherein the anticorrosion solution does not contain any sodium chloride and said anticorrosion solution, when coated on an acid sensitive enamel surface, protects said acid sensitive enamel surface from corrosion.
- 2. The solution according to claim 1, wherein the concentration of the nitrogen containing organic compound is about 1.0 wt. % to about 4.0 wt. %.
- 3. The solution according to claim 1, wherein said nitrogen containing organic compound is choline chloride.
