Claims
- 1. A liquid crystal display apparatus comprising:a pair of substrates; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between said pair of substrates; wherein one of said pair of substrates has an electrode structure including a plurality of pixel electrodes and a plurality of common electrodes, an organic polymer film is formed on a surface of at least one of said plurality of pixel electrodes and said plurality of common electrodes, and said liquid crystal layer is in direct contact with said organic polymer film; and wherein said plurality of pixel electrodes and said plurality of common electrodes are formed on different layers from each other.
- 2. A liquid crystal display apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said organic polymer film formed on said at least one of said plurality of pixel electrodes and said plurality of common electrodes is in direct contact with said at least one of said plurality of pixel electrodes and plurality of common electrodes.
- 3. A liquid-crystal display apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said organic polymer film serves both as a protective film for said at least one of said plurality of pixel electrodes and said plurality of common electrodes and an alignment film for said liquid crystal layer.
- 4. A liquid crystal display apparatus comprising:a pair of substrates; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between said pair of substrates; wherein one of said pair of substrates has an electrode structure including a plurality of pixel electrodes and a plurality of common electrodes disposed in different layers from one another, a protective film is formed on a surface of at least one of said plurality of pixel electrodes and said plurality of common electrodes, said protective film is an organic polymer film, and said liquid crystal layer is in direct contact with said protective film.
- 5. A liquid crystal display apparatus according to claim 4, wherein said organic polymer film formed on said at least one of said plurality of pixel electrodes and said plurality of common electrodes is in direct contact with said at least one of said plurality of pixel electrodes and plurality of common electrodes.
- 6. A liquid crystal display apparatus according to claim 4, wherein said organic polymer film serves both as a protective film for said at least one of said plurality of pixel electrodes and said plurality of common electrodes and an alignment film for said liquid crystal layer.
