Claims
- 1. A liquid crystal display device comprising:a first substrate and a second substrate; a liquid crystal layer interposed between said first and second substrates; a plurality of first lines and second lines formed on the first substrate, each of said first lines is wider than each of said second lines; at least a pixel with a spacer being selectively formed on each of the first lines in plane view; a black matrix formed on the second substrate and having color filters formed therebetween; and an overcoating film formed on the black matrix and the color filters, wherein the spacer is formed on the overcoating film, and a portion of the spacer contacting the overcoating film is superposed substantially between the color filters in plane view, and said spacer is wider than said second lines.
- 2. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 1, wherein a black matrix is formed over said each first line, and said black matrix is wider than said each first line.
- 3. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 2, wherein said spacer is narrower than said first line.
- 4. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 3, wherein aid first line is a gate line and said second line is a drain line.
- 5. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 3, wherein said spacer is arranged between neighboring second lines.
- 6. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 1, wherein said spacer is narrower than said first line.
- 7. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 1, wherein said first line is a gate line and said second line is a drain line.
- 8. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 1, wherein said spacer is arranged between neighboring second lines.
- 9. A liquid crystal display device comprising:a first substrate and a second substrate; a liquid crystal layer interposed between said first and second substrates; a plurality of gate lines and drain lines formed on the first substrate, each of said gate lines is wider than each of said drain lines; a plurality of pixels formed by adjoining gate lines and drain lines, at least one of the pixels is formed with at least one spacer; a black matrix formed on the second substrate and having color filters formed therebetween; and an overcoating film formed on the black matrix and the color filters, wherein the spacer is formed on the overcoating film, and a portion of the spacer contacting the overcoating film is superposed substantially between the color filters in plane view, said spacer is arranged selectively over one of the gate lines in plane view, and said spacer is wider than the drain lines.
- 10. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 9, wherein said spacer is narrower than said gate lines.
- 11. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 10, wherein a black matrix is formed over said gate lines, and said black matrix is wider than said gate lines.
- 12. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 11, wherein said spacer is arranged between neighboring drain lines.
- 13. A liquid crystal display device comprising:a first substrate and a second substrate; a liquid crystal layer interposed between said first and second substrates; a plurality of first lines and second lines formed on the first substrate, each of said first lines is wider than each of said second lines; a plurality of pixels, at least one of the pixels has a spacer being selectively formed on each of said first lines in plane view; a black matrix formed on the second substrate and having color filters formed therebetween; and an overcoating film formed on the black matrix and the color filters, wherein the spacer is formed on the overcoating film, and a portion of the spacer contacting the overcoating film is superposed substantially between the color filters in plane view, said spacer is wider than said second lines, and said spacer is predeterminedly arranged among the pixels.
- 14. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 13, wherein said spacer is arranged over each of said second lines.
- 15. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 14, wherein said spacer is narrower than said first lines.
- 16. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 15, wherein at least one electrode is arranged next to each of the second lines, and said spacer extends over said electrode.
- 17. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 15, wherein a black matrix is formed over each of said second lines, and said black matrix is wider than each of said second lines.
- 18. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 14,wherein a black matrix is formed over each of said second lines, at least an electrode is arranged next to said second lines, and at least one edge of said black matrix overlaps said electrode.
- 19. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 15,wherein a black matrix is formed over each of said second lines, at least an electrode is arranged next to said second lines, and at least one edge of said black matrix overlaps said electrode.
- 20. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 14, wherein at least one electrode is arranged next to each of the second lines, and said spacer extends over said electrode.
- 21. A liquid crystal display device according to claim 14, wherein a black matrix is formed over each of said second lines, and said black matrix is wider than each of said second lines.
