Claims
- 1. A liquid treating agent composition suitable for passivating contaminating metals on a cracking catalyst comprising a solution or dispersion of (A) antimony or at least one compound of antimony, and (b) tin or at least one compound of tin wherein the weight ratio of antimony to tin is in the range of 0.5/1 to 10/1.
- 2. A composition according to claim 1 wherein (A) and (B) are dissolved or dispersed in a hydrocarbon.
- 3. A composition according to claim 1 wherein (A) and (B) are dissolved or dispersed in water.
- 4. A composition according to claim 1 wherein (A) comprises an organic antimony compound, and (B) comprises an organic tin compound.
- 5. A composition according to claim 4 wherein (A) comprises an antimony thiophosphate.
- 6. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the weight ratio of antimony to tin is 10/1.
- 7. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the weight ratio of antimony to tin is 1/1.
- 8. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the weight ratio of antimony to tin is 0.5/1.
- 9. A composition according to claim 5 wherein (B) comprises a dihydrocarbyltin oxide.
- 10. A composition in accordance with claim 9 wherein (A) comprises antimony tris(O,O-dipropyl phosphorodithioate) and wherein (B) comprises dibutyltin oxide.
- 11. A composition according to claim 5 wherein (B) comprises a dihydrocarbyltin bis(hydrocarbyl mercaptoacetate).
- 12. A composition in accordance with claim 11 wherein (A) comprises antimony tris(O,O-dipropyl phosphorodithioate) and wherein (B) comprises dibutyltin bis(isooctyl mercaptoacetate).
- 13. A composition according to claim 5 wherein (B) comprises a tin thiophosphate.
- 14. A composition in accordance with claim 13 wherein (A) comprises antimony tris(O,0-dipropyl phosphorodithioate) and wherein (B) comprises stannic O,O-dipropyl phosphorodithoate.
- 15. A composition according to claim 13 wherein (B) comprises stannous O,O-dipropyl phosphorodithioate and (A) comprises antimony tris(O,O-dipropyl phosphorodithioate).
- 16. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the weight ratio of antimony to tin is in the range of 1/1 to 10/1.
