Claims
- 1. An equivalent circuit generating method for use with a logic simulation system that stores design data representing a logic circuit and generates a plurality of mapping data for small-scale circuits from the design data representing said logic circuit, to generate an equivalent circuit of said logic circuit, said equivalent circuit generating method comprising the steps of:
- comparing, after logically changing said design data representing a logic circuit, information concerning the equivalent circuit of said logic circuit before said logic circuit is logically changed with information concerning said logic circuit after said logic circuit is logically changed;
- judging feasibility of implementing the design data representing the logically changed logic circuit by changing at least one small-scale circuit; and
- generating, when the implementations is judged to be feasible, an equivalent circuit of said logically changed logic circuit, by changing mapping data corresponding to another small-scale circuit.
- 2. An equivalent circuit generating method for use with a logic simulation system that stores design data representing a logic circuit and generates divided design data for small-scale circuits from the design data representing said logic circuit, to generate an equivalent circuit of said logic circuit, said equivalent circuit generating method comprising the steps of:
- comparing, after logically changing said divided design data, information concerning the logic circuit before said logic circuit is logically changed with information concerning said divided design data after said logic circuit is logically changed;
- judging feasibility of implementing the design data representing the logically changed logic circuit by changing at least one small-scale circuit; and
- generating, when the implementation is judged to be feasible, an equivalent circuit of said logically changed logic circuit by changing mapping data corresponding to said at least one small-scale circuit and not changing mapping data corresponding to another small-scale circuit.
