Description
FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention is related to a detachable wheelset for luggage back, and more particularly, the present invention relates to the wheelset for a luggage bag that can be detached and stored in the bag.

BACKGROUND

Luggage bags are known in the art for carrying goods. Luggage bags of different sizes and shapes are known for different load-carrying purposes. Wheeled bags are also popular for carrying heavier loads, wherein the wheels permit wheeling the luggage bag taking off the weight from the hand or shoulder of a user. Luggage bags with smaller capacities are also available with wheels, such as a person has both options to carrythe luggage bag on shoulders or wheeling the luggage bag. Although provisions of wheels in the luggage bags have become popular by offloading the weight from the shoulders of the user in carrying the luggage bags, however, situations may arise wherein the provisions of the wheels may be undesired.

Therefore, a desire is there for a wheelset for luggage bags that can be attached and detached from the luggage bag.

Disclosed is a detachable wheelset for luggage bags that can be attached and detached as and when required. Referring to FIG. 1, which shows an exemplary embodiment of the detachable wheelset 100. Two detachable wheelset 100 are shows in FIG. 1 installed over a luggage bag 200. The detachable wheelset 100 can include a continuous strap 110 that can have a proximal end and a distal end. The strap 110 can be flexible permitting folding of the strap and also be durable. It is to be understood that continuous strap can be a single piece of strap that extends between the proximal end and a distal end or two or more pieces can be combined to form the continuous elongated strap. For example, two straps can be coupled by size adjustments means 120 to form the continuous strap. A length adjusting means 120, such as a buckle can also be provided for increasing or decreasing the length of the strap. Size adjusting means are known to a skilled person for use in straps of bags for increasing and decreasing the length of the strap. The wheelset 100 can further include two wheels 130, wherein the distance between the two wheels can be proportional to the width of the luggage bag 200.

The two wheels 130 of the wheelset 100 can be castor wheels having a frame 135. The frame 135 can have a flat top plate which can be coupled to the strap using an adhesive or fasteners.
