Claims
- 1. A method of detecting light emitted from one of a plurality of luminescent samples in opaque wells in a tray comprising:
- positioning a photodetection head adjacent to and covering the top surface of a sample well containing one luminescent sample, thereby permitting the head to detect light emitted by the one sample and to substantially isolate the head from light emitted by the remaining samples.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said sample well is covered by a transparent film against which said photodetection head presses when the head is in its sample-reading position.
