Claims
- 1. A toy wand for facilitating wireless interactive game play, said wand comprising:
a wand having distal and proximal ends; a wireless transmitter disposed within the wand, said wireless transmitter comprising a radio frequency, infrared and/or RFID transmitter; actuation circuitry operatively associated with the wand and responsive to one or more particular motions thereof for actuating said wireless transmitter and causing said transmitter to wirelessly send a command signal for activating or controlling one or more effects.
- 2. A toy wand input device for facilitating interactive game play, said toy wand comprising:
a wand body having distal and proximal ends; activation circuitry operatively associated with the wand body for activating an output device of said wand, said activation circuitry comprising at least two motion-sensitive elements spaced apart between said distal and proximal ends of said wand body; said at least two motion-sensitive elements being arranged and adjusted such that said activation circuitry is disabled or OFF when the wand is in a static condition but is enabled or ON when said wand is moved in such a way to subject the distal end thereof to different acceleration forces than the proximal end thereof; whereby said output device is controlled or affected by movement of the wand.
- 3. A self-powered toy comprising power generation circuitry operatively associated with the toy and being configured and adjusted to be responsive to either a fluctuating external magnetic field and/or movements of the toy, for generating and storing small amounts of energy for powering one or more associated toy functions or effects.
