Claims
- 1. A magnetic recording and reproducing head comprising:a first magnetic film formed on a non-magnetic substrate; a second magnetic film formed on said first magnetic film, said second magnetic film having a recessed portion at a part thereof; a third magnetic film formed at least in said recessed portion of said second magnetic film, said third magnetic film having a thickness smaller than the thickness of said second magnetic film; an electrically conductive metal film formed in said recessed portion; a fourth magnetic film formed so as to put said electrically conductive metal film between said fourth magnetic film and said third magnetic film; a return path yoke facing said fourth magnetic film at one end with a predetermined magnetic gap, and contacting said fourth magnetic film at the other end, said return path yoke being formed so as to leave a space at least on a surface of said fourth magnetic film in a region where said electrically conductive metal film (101) is formed; an electrically conductive metal film winding wound around said return path yoke, and a recording signal being applied to said winding at the time of recording; a high frequency signal generator for supplying a high frequency current to said electrically conductive metal film at the time of reproduction, said high frequency signal generator being connected to respective ends of said electrically conductive metal film; and a high frequency amplifier for demodulating a high frequency signal for output at the time of reproduction, said high frequency amplifier being connected to said respective ends of said electrically conductive metal film.
- 2. A magnetic recording and reproducing head in accordance with claim 1, whereina DC current is supplied to said electrically conductive metal film winding at the time of reproduction so as to give a DC magnetic field for biasing said magnetic head.
- 3. A magnetic recording and reproducing head in accordance with claim 1, whereinthe permeability of said first magnetic film is smaller than the permeability of said third magnetic film.
- 4. A magnetic recording and reproducing head in accordance with claim 1, whereinsaid third and fourth magnetic films are 50 nm or less in thickness, and the thickness of said third magnetic film is greater than the thickness of said fourth magnetic film.
- 5. A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus comprising:a magnetic recording and reproducing head including a first magnetic film formed on a non-magnetic substrate, a second magnetic film formed on said first magnetic film, said second magnetic film having a recessed portion in a part thereof, a third magnetic film formed at least in said recessed portion of said second magnetic film, said third magnetic film having a thickness smaller than the thickness of said second magnetic film, an electrically conductive metal film formed in said recessed portion, a fourth magnetic film formed so as to put said electrically conductive metal film between said fourth magnetic film and said third magnetic film, a return path yoke facing said fourth magnetic film at one end with a predetermined magnetic gap, and contacting said fourth magnetic film at the other end, said return path yoke being formed so as to leave a space at least on a surface of said fourth magnetic film in a region where said electrically conductive metal film is formed, an electrically conductive metal film winding wound around said return path yoke, and a recording signal being supplied to said winding at the time of recording, a high frequency signal generator for supplying a high frequency current to said electrically conductive metal film at the time of reproduction, said high frequency signal generator being connected to respective ends of said electrically conductive metal film, and a high frequency amplifier for demodulating a high frequency signal for output at the time of reproduction, said high frequency amplifier being connected to said respective ends of said electrically conductive metal film; and a recording medium used for recording and reproducing information with said magnetic recording and reproducing head.
- 6. A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus in accordance with claim 5, whereina DC current is supplied to said electrically conductive metal film winding at the time of reproduction so as to give a DC magnetic field for biasing said magnetic head.
- 7. A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus in accordance with claim 5, whereinpermeability of said first magnetic film is smaller than the permeability of said third magnetic film.
- 8. A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus in accordance with claim 5, whereinsaid third and fourth magnetic films are 50 nm or less in thickness, and the thickness of said third magnetic film is greater than the thickness of said fourth magnetic film.
