Claims
- 1. An oxide superconducting bulk material, produced by a method comprising the steps of:
- making a superconducting bulk material product from oxides of bismuth, barium and copper in molar quantities of metals of bismuth, barium and copper in the atomic ratio of 1.0:1.8:3.0; and
- subjecting said product to microwave treatment of the order of 0.7 KW to 3.00 KW in a furnace in at least one stage at temperatures 600.degree. to 900.degree. C. and to furnace cooling.
- 2. An oxide superconducting made from metal oxides of bismuth, barium and copper in molar quantities of metals of bismuth, barium and copper in the atomic ratio of 1:1.8:3.0 in the form of molded material or wire products, wherein said molded material or wire products are subjected to microwave treatment of the order of 0.7 KW to 3.00 KW in a furnace in one or more stages at 600.degree. to 900.degree. C. and furnace cooled.
- 3. An oxide superconducting material as claimed in claim 2, wherein said molded material or wire products is one which is achieved by subjecting a melt to a magnetic field of 98-150 gauss in one or more stages at temperatures between 600.degree. and 850.degree. C.
