Claims
- 1. An apparatus, comprising:
- a first guide part which guides an optical unit for magnification change;
- a second guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part;
- a third guide part which guides said optical unit for magnification change, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part; and
- a fourth guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment, said fourth guide part being provided on an extension of said third guide part.
- 2. An apparatus, comprising:
- a first guide part which guides an optical unit with respect to magnification change;
- a second guide part which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part;
- a third guide part which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part; and
- a fourth guide part which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said fourth guide part being provided on an extension of said third guide part.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said first, second, third and fourth guide parts comprises cams, respectively.
- 4. An apparatus, comprising:
- a first cam which guides an optical unit with respect to magnification change;
- a second cam which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said second cam being provided on an extension of said first cam;
- a third cam which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, said third cam being provided on an extension of said second cam; and
- a fourth cam which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said fourth cam being provided on an extension of said third cam.
- 5. An apparatus according to claim 4, further comprising common driving means for driving said first, second, third and fourth cams.
- 6. An apparatus according to claim 4, further comprising a common motor for driving said first, second, third and fourth cams.
- 7. An apparatus according to claim 4, further comprising a common stepping motor for driving said first, second, third and fourth cams.
- 8. An apparatus, comprising:
- first guide part for guiding an optical unit for magnification change;
- second guide part for guiding said optical unit for focus adjustment, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part; and
- third guide part for guiding said optical unit for magnification change, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part.
- 9. An apparatus according to claim 8, further comprising common driving means for driving said first, second and third guide parts.
- 10. An apparatus according to claim 8, further comprising a common motor for driving said first, second and third guide parts.
- 11. An apparatus according to claim 8, further comprising a common stepping motor for driving said first, second and third guide parts.
- 12. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein said first, second, third and fourth guide means comprises cams, respectively.
- 13. An apparatus, comprising:
- a guide device which guides an optical unit, said guide device having a first guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, a second guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, and a third guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, wherein said second guide range is provided on an extension of said first guide range, and said third guide range being provided on an extension of said second guide range.
- 14. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a motor for driving said guide device.
- 15. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a stepping motor for driving said guide device.
- 16. An apparatus according to claim 13, further comprising driving means for driving said guide device.
- 17. An apparatus according to claim 13, further comprising a motor for driving said guide device.
- 18. An apparatus according to claim 13, further comprising a stepping motor for driving said guide device.
- 19. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein said apparatus comprises said optical unit.
- 20. An apparatus according to claim 19, wherein said optical unit is arranged to move as one piece.
- 21. An apparatus according to claim 19, wherein said optical unit comprises a lens.
- 22. An apparatus according to claim 19, wherein said optical unit comprises means for photographing.
- 23. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising a common driving means for driving said first, second, third and fourth guide parts.
- 24. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising a common motor for driving said first, second, third and fourth guide parts.
- 25. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising a common stepping motor for driving said first, second, third and fourth guide parts.
- 26. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein said optical unit is arranged to move as one piece.
- 27. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein said optical unit comprises a lens.
- 28. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein said optical unit comprises means for photographing.
- 29. An apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising common driving means for driving said first, second, third and fourth guide parts.
- 30. An apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising a common motor for driving said first, second, third and fourth guide parts.
- 31. An apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising a common stepping motor for driving said first, second, third and fourth guide parts.
- 32. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising common driving means for driving said first, second, third and fourth cams.
- 33. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising a common motor for driving said first, second, third and fourth cams.
- 34. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising a common stepping motor for driving said first, second, third and fourth cams.
- 35. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising common driving means for driving said first, second and third guide parts.
- 36. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising a common motor for driving said first, second and third guide parts.
- 37. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising a common stepping motor for driving said first, second and third guide parts.
- 38. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising driving means for driving said guide device.
- 39. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, further comprising:
- (c) first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to magnification change; and
- (d) second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means after photographing.
- 40. An apparatus according to claim 39, wherein said second means comprises means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 41. An apparatus in any one of claims 1 to 13, further comprising:
- (c) first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to magnification chance; and
- (d) second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means in connection with photographing.
- 42. An apparatus according to claim 41, wherein said second means includes means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 43. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, further comprising:
- (c) first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to a magnification change; and
- (d) second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means in connection with an operation of a shutter release member.
- 44. An apparatus according to claim 43, wherein said second means comprises means for automatically starting after photographing.
- 45. An apparatus according to claim 43, wherein said second means comprises means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 46. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, further comprising:
- (c) measuring means for automatically measuring information in relation to a distance to an object;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said optical unit according to a signal outputted from said measuring means;
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said optical unit according to the signal outputted from said signal output means; and
- (g) third determining means for determining a manner of movement of said optical unit by combining both the manner of movement of said optical unit determined by said first determining means and the manner of movement of said optical unit determined by said second determining means.
- 47. An apparatus according to claim 46, further comprising:
- a driving device which drives said optical unit in accordance with said third determining means.
- 48. An apparatus according to claim 46, further comprising:
- an operating device which operates said optical unit in accordance with said third determining means.
- 49. An apparatus according to claim 46, further comprising:
- a motor which drives said optical unit in accordance with said third determining means.
- 50. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein said optical unit comprises a photographic optical unit.
- 51. An apparatus according to claim 50, further comprising:
- (c) measuring means for automatically measuring information in relation to a distance to an object;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said measuring means;
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal output means; and
- (g) relation means for relating a condition of a finder and the signal outputted from said signal output means, and for not relating a condition of said finder and the signal outputted from said measuring means.
- 52. An apparatus according to claim 51, wherein said finder comprises means for visualizing an object.
- 53. An apparatus according to claim 50, further comprising:
- (c) signal forming means for forming a signal in relation to a focus adjustment;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal forming means;
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to the signal outputted from said signal output means; and
- (g) relation means for relating a condition of a finder and the signal outputted from said signal output means, and for not relating a condition of said finder and the signal outputted from the signal forming means.
- 54. An apparatus according to claim 53, wherein said finder comprises means for visualizing an object.
- 55. An apparatus according to claim 50, further comprising:
- (c) measuring means for automatically measuring information in relation to a distance to an object;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said measuring means;
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal output means; and
- (g) separating means for separating a movement of said photographic optical unit and an operation of a finder.
- 56. An apparatus according to claim 55, wherein said finder comprises means for visualizing an object.
- 57. An apparatus according to claim 50, further comprising:
- (c) signal forming means for forming a signal in relation to focus adjustment;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal forming means;
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal output means; and
- (g) separating means for separating a movement of said photographic optical unit and an operation of a finder.
- 58. An apparatus according to claim 57, wherein said finder comprises means for visualizing an object.
- 59. An apparatus according to claim 50, further comprising:
- (c) measuring means for automatically measuring information in relation to a distance to an object;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said measuring means;
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal output means; and
- (g) separating means for operating a finder without moving said photographic optical unit.
- 60. An apparatus according to claim 59, wherein said finder compromises means for visualizing an object.
- 61. An apparatus according to claim 50, further comprising:
- (c) signal forming means for forming a signal in relation to focus adjustment;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal forming means;
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to the signal outputted from said signal output means; and
- (g) separating means for operating a finder without moving said photographic optical unit.
- 62. An apparatus according to claim 61, wherein said finder comprises means for visualizing an object.
- 63. An apparatus according to claim 50, further comprising:
- (c) measuring means for automatically measuring information in relation to a distance to an object;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said measuring means;
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal output means; and
- (g) separating means for moving said photographic optical unit without operating a finder.
- 64. An apparatus according to claim 63, wherein said finder comprises means for visualizing an object.
- 65. An apparatus according to claim 50, further comprising:
- (c) signal forming means for forming a signal in relation to focus adjustment;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal forming means;
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said photographic optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal output means; and
- (g) separating means for moving said photographic optical unit without operating a finder.
- 66. An apparatus according to claim 65, wherein said finder comprises means for visualizing an object.
- 67. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, further comprising:
- (c) measuring means for automatically measuring information in relation to a distance to an object in response to the operation of a shutter release number;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said optical unit according to a signal outputted from said measuring means; and
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said optical unit according to the signal outputted from said signal output means.
- 68. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, further comprising:
- (c) signal forming means for forming a signal in relation to focus adjustment in response to an operation of a shutter release member;
- (d) signal output means for outputting a signal in relation to magnification setting;
- (e) first determining means for determining a manner of movement of said optical unit according to a signal outputted from said signal forming means; and
- (f) second determining means for determining a manner of movement of said optical unit according to the signal outputted from said signal output means.
- 69. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein said apparatus comprises an optical apparatus.
- 70. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein said apparatus is arranged to be adapted to an optical apparatus.
- 71. An apparatus according to claim 70, further comprising:
- (c) first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to magnification chance; and
- (d) second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means after photographing.
- 72. An apparatus according to claim 71, wherein said second means includes means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 73. An apparatus according to claim 70, further comprising:
- (c) first means for moving out said first optical unit in relation to magnification chance; and
- (d) second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means in connection with photographing.
- 74. An apparatus according to claim 73, wherein said second means includes means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 75. An apparatus according to claim 70, further comprising:
- (c) first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to magnification change; and
- (d) second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means in connection with an operation of a shutter release member.
- 76. An apparatus according to claim 75, wherein said second means comprises means for automatically starting after photographing.
- 77. An apparatus according to claim 75, wherein said second means comprises means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 78. An apparatus for a camera, comprising:
- (a) a first guide part which guides an optical unit for magnification change;
- (b) a second guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part;
- (c) a third guide part which guides said optical unit for magnification change, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part; and
- (d) a fourth guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment, said fourth guide part being provided on an extension of said third guide part.
- 79. An apparatus for a camera, comprising:
- (a) a first guide part which guides an optical unit with respect to magnification change;
- (b) a second guide part which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part; and
- (c) a third guide part which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part.
- 80. An apparatus for a camera, comprising:
- (a) a first cam which guides an optical unit with respect to magnification change;
- (b) a second cam which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said second cam being provided on an extension of said first cam; and
- (c) a third cam which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, said third cam being provided on an extension of said second cam.
- 81. An apparatus for a camera, comprising:
- (a) first guide means for guiding an optical unit for magnification change;
- (b) second guide means for guiding said optical unit for focus adjustment, said second guide means being provided on an extension of said first guide means;
- (c) third guide means for guiding said optical unit for magnification change, said third guide means being provided on an extension of said second guide means; and
- (d) a fourth guide means for guiding said optical unit for focus adjustment, said fourth guide means being provided on an extension of said third guide means.
- 82. An apparatus for a camera, comprising:
- a guide device which guides an optical unit, said guide device having a first guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, a second guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, a third guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, and a fourth guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment wherein said second guide range is provided on an extension of said first guide range, said third guide range being provided on an extension of said second guide range, and said fourth guide range being provided on an extension of said third guide range.
- 83. An apparatus according to any one of claims 78 to 82, further comprising:
- first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to magnification change; and
- second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means after photographing.
- 84. An apparatus according to claim 83, wherein said second means comprises means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 85. An apparatus according to any one of claims 78 to 82, further comprising:
- first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to magnification change; and
- second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means in connection with photographing.
- 86. An apparatus according to claim 85, wherein said second means comprises for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 87. An apparatus according to any one of claims 78 to 82, further comprising:
- first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to magnification change; and
- second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means in connection with an operation of a shutter release member.
- 88. An apparatus according to claim 87, wherein said second means comprises means for automatically starting after photographing.
- 89. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 78 or 79, wherein said first guide part guides said optical unit so as to trace a locus different from a locus which said second guide part guides said optical unit so as to trace, in an optical path, relative to a second optical unit.
- 90. An apparatus according to claims 4 or 80, wherein said first cam guides said optical unit so as to trace a locus different from a locus which said second part guides said optical unit so as to trace, in an optical path, relative to a second optical unit.
- 91. An apparatus according to claims 8 or 81, wherein said first guide means guides said optical unit so as to trace a locus different from a locus which said second guide means guides said optical unit so as to trace, in an optical path, relative to a second optical unit.
- 92. An apparatus according to claims 13 or 82, wherein said first guide range guides said optical unit so as to trace a locus different from a locus which said second guide range guides said optical unit so as to trace, in an optical path, relative to a second optical unit.
- 93. A camera, comprising:
- (a) a first guide part which guides an optical unit for magnification change;
- (b) a second guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part;
- (c) a third guide part which guides said optical unit for magnification change, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part; and
- (d) a fourth guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment, said fourth guide part being provided on an extension of said third guide part.
- 94. A camera, comprising:
- (a) a first guide part which guides an optical unit with respect to magnification change;
- (b) a second guide part which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part;
- (c) a third guide part which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part; and
- (d) a fourth guide part which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said fourth guide part being provided on an extension of said third guide part.
- 95. A camera according to claims 93 or 94, wherein said first guide part guides said optical unit so as to trace a locus different from a locus which said second guide part guides said optical unit so as to trace, in an optical path, relative to a second optical unit.
- 96. A camera, comprising:
- (a) a first cam which guides an optical unit with respect to magnification change;
- (b) a second cam which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said second cam being provided on an extension of said first cam;
- (c) a third cam which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, said third cam being provided on an extension of said second cam and
- (d) a fourth cam which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said fourth cam being provided on an extension of said third cam.
- 97. A camera according to claim 96, wherein said first cam guides said optical unit so as to trace a locus different from a locus which said second part guides said optical unit so as to trace, in an optical path, relative to a second optical unit.
- 98. A camera, comprising:
- (a) first guide means for guiding an optical unit for magnification change;
- (b) second guide means for guiding said optical unit for focus adjustment, said second guide means being provided on an extension of said first guide means; and
- (c) third guide means for guiding said optical unit for magnification change, said third guide means being provided on an extension of said second guide means.
- 99. A camera according to claim 98, wherein said first guide means guides said optical unit so as to trace a locus different from a locus which said second guide means guides said optical unit so as to trace, in an optical path, relative to a second optical unit.
- 100. A camera, comprising:
- a guide device which guides an optical unit, said guide device having a first guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, a second guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, and a third guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification change, wherein said second guide range is provided on an extension of said first guide range, said third guide range being provided on an extension of said second guide range.
- 101. A camera according to claim 100, wherein said first guide range guides said optical unit so as to trace a locus different from a locus which said second guide range guides said optical unit so as to trace, in an optical path, relative to a second optical unit.
- 102. A camera according to any one of claims 98 to 100, further comprising:
- first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to magnification change; and
- second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means after photographing.
- 103. A camera according to claim 102, wherein said second means comprises means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 104. A camera according to any one of claims 98 to 100, further comprising:
- first means for moving out said first optical unit in relation to magnification change; and
- second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means in connection with photographing.
- 105. A camera according to claim 104, wherein said second means comprises means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 106. An apparatus according to any one of claims 93 to 100, further comprising:
- first means for moving out said optical unit in relation to a magnification change; and
- second means for automatically starting to move in said optical unit moved out by said first means in connection with an operation of a shutter release member.
- 107. A camera according to claim 106, wherein said second means comprises means for automatically starting after photographing.
- 108. A camera according to claim 106, wherein said second means comprises means for inhibiting operation during photographing.
- 109. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4, 8, 13, 78, 79, 80, 81 or 82, further comprising:
- first signal output means for outputting a focus adjustment signal;
- second signal output means for outputting a magnification signal;
- calculating means for calculating a movement amount of said optical unit on the basis of the focus adjustment signal of said first signal output means and the magnification signal of said second signal output means; and
- movement means for moving said optical unit in accordance with the movement amount calculated by said calculating means.
- 110. An apparatus according to claim 109, wherein said calculating means comprises a motor.
- 111. An apparatus according to claim 109, wherein said calculating means comprises means for responding to an operation of a shutter release member.
- 112. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4, 8, 13, 78, 79, 80, 81 or 82, further comprising:
- first signal output means for outputting a signal relating to focus adjustment;
- second signal output means for outputting a signal relating to magnification;
- calculating means for calculating a movement amount of said optical unit on the basis of the signal relating to focus adjustment of first signal output means and signal relating to magnification of said second signal output means; and
- movement means for moving said optical unit in accordance with the movement amount calculated by said calculating means.
- 113. An apparatus according to claim 112, wherein said calculating means comprises a motor.
- 114. An apparatus according to claim 112, wherein said calculating means comprises means for responding to an operation of a shutter release member.
- 115. A camera according to any one of claims 93, 94, 96, 98 or 100, further comprising:
- first signal output means for outputting a focus adjustment signal;
- second signal output means for outputting a magnification signal;
- calculating means for calculating a movement amount of said optical unit on the basis of the focus adjustment signal of said first signal output means and the magnification signal of said second signal output means; and
- movement means for moving said optical unit in accordance with the movement amount calculated by said calculating means.
- 116. A camera according to claim 115, wherein said calculating means comprises a motor.
- 117. A camera according to claim 115, wherein said calculating means comprises means for responding to an operation of a shutter release member.
- 118. A camera according to any one of claims 93, 94, 96, 98 or 100, further comprising:
- first signal output means for outputting a signal relating to focus adjustment;
- second signal output means for outputting a signal relating to magnification;
- calculating means for calculating a movement amount of said optical unit on the basis of the signal relating to focus adjustment of first signal output means and signal relating to magnification of said second signal output means; and
- movement means for moving said optical unit in accordance with the movement amount calculated by said calculating means.
- 119. A camera according to claim 118, wherein said calculating means comprises a motor.
- 120. A camera according to claim 118, wherein said calculating means comprises means for responding to an operation of a shutter release member.
- 121. An apparatus comprising:
- a first guide part which guides an optical unit so as to set magnification;
- a second guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment in relation to magnification set by said first guide part, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part;
- a third guide part which guides said optical unit so as to set magnification, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part; and
- a fourth guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment in relation to magnification set by said third guide part, said fourth guide part being provided on an extension of said third guide part.
- 122. An apparatus according to claim 121, wherein said first, second, third and fourth guide parts comprises cams, respectively.
- 123. An apparatus according to claim 121, wherein said apparatus comprises a camera.
- 124. An apparatus comprising:
- a guide device which guides an optical unit, said guide device having a first guide range which guides said optical unit so as to set magnification, a second guide range which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment in relation to magnification set by said first guide range, a third guide range which guides said optical unit so as to set magnification, and a fourth guide range which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment in relation to magnification set by said third guide range, wherein said second guide range is provided on an extension of said first guide range, said third guide range is provided on an extension of said second guide range, and said fourth guide range is provided on an extension of said third guide range.
