Claims
- 1. An apparatus comprising:
- (a) a signal forming device for forming a signal related to magnification; and
- (b) an operating device which moves an optical unit to a position according to output of said signal forming device, said operating device stopping said optical unit to the position in one direction.
- 2. An apparatus comprising:
- (a) a detection device for automatically detecting information related to distance to an object;
- (b) a signal forming device for forming a signal related to magnification; and
- (c) an operating device which moves an optical unit to a position according to output of said detection device and said signal forming device, said operating device stopping said optical unit to the position in one direction.
- 3. An apparatus comprising:
- (a) a detection device for detecting information related to focus adjustment;
- (b) a signal forming device for forming a signal related to magnification; and
- (c) an operating device which moves an optical unit to a position according to output of said detection device and said signal forming device, said operating device stopping said optical unit to the position in one direction.
- 4. An apparatus comprising:
- (a) a signal forming device for forming a signal related to magnification;
- (b) an operating device which moves a photograph lens to a position corresponding to output of said forming device, said operating device stopping said photographic lens to the position in one direction; and
- (c) a finder lens moved to a position corresponding to output of said signal forming device, said finder lens stopped to the position in two directions.
- 5. An apparatus comprising:
- (a) a magnification setting device for setting magnification; and
- (b) an operating device which moves an optical unit to a position set by said magnification setting device, said operating device stopping said optical unit to the position in one direction.
- 6. An apparatus comprising:
- (a) a magnification setting device for setting magnification;
- (b) an operating device which moves a photographic lens to a position set by said magnification setting device, said operating device stopping said photographic lens to the position in one direction; and
- (c) a finder lens moved to a position set by said magnification setting device, said finder lens stopped to the position in two directions.
- 7. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said finder lens is arranged to be capable of stopping to the position in both higher and lower magnification directions.
- 8. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said apparatus comprises a camera.
- 9. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said apparatus comprises an optical apparatus.
- 10. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said apparatus comprises an optical unit moving device for a camera.
- 11. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said apparatus comprises an optical unit moving device.
- 12. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3 and 5, wherein said optical unit comprises a photographic lens.
- 13. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3 and 5, wherein said operating device comprises a focal length changing device which moves said optical unit so as to change focal length.
- 14. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3 and 5, wherein said operating device comprises a focal length changing device which moves said photographic lens so as to change focal length.
- 15. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3 and 5, wherein said apparatus comprises said optical unit.
- 16. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said apparatus comprises said photographic lens.
- 17. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said operating device comprises a motor.
- 18. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said operating device comprises a stepping motor.
- 19. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said operating device is arranged to step-by-step change focal length.
- 20. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said operating device is arranged to continuously change focal length.
- 21. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3, and 5, wherein said operating device comprises a threaded portion for transmitting a driving force to said optical unit.
- 22. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3, and 5, wherein said operating device comprises a cam for transmitting a driving force to said optical unit.
- 23. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3, and 5, wherein said operating device comprises a transmitting bar for transmitting a driving force to said optical unit.
- 24. An apparatus according to claim 23, wherein said transmitting bar is arranged to pass through beside a shutter.
- 25. An apparatus according to claim 23, wherein said transmitting bar is arranged to pass through beside a diaphragm.
- 26. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said operating device comprises a threaded portion for transmitting a driving force to said photographic lens.
- 27. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said operating device comprises a cam for transmitting a driving force to said photographic lens.
- 28. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said operating device comprises a transmitting bar for transmitting a driving force to said photographic lens.
- 29. An apparatus according to claim 28, wherein said transmitting bar is arranged to pass through beside a shutter.
- 30. An apparatus according to claim 28, wherein said transmitting bar is arranged to pass through beside a diaphragm.
- 31. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3 and 5, wherein said operating device comprises:
- a first guide part which guides said optical unit for magnification change;
- a second guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part; and
- a third guide part which guides said optical unit for magnification change, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part.
- 32. An apparatus according to claim 31, wherein said operating device comprises a fourth guide part which guides said optical unit for focus adjustment, said fourth guide part being provided on an extension of said third guide part.
- 33. An apparatus according to claim 32, wherein said first, second, third and fourth guide parts comprises cams, respectively.
- 34. An apparatus according to claim 31, wherein said first, second and third guide parts comprises cams, respectively.
- 35. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3 and 5, wherein said operating device comprises a guide device which guides said optical unit, said guide device having a first guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification, a second guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, and a third guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to magnification, wherein said second guide range is provided on an extension of said first guide range, and said third guide range is provided on an extension of said second guide range.
- 36. An apparatus according to claim 35, wherein said guide device has a fourth guide range which guides said optical unit with respect to focus adjustment, said fourth guide range is provided on an extension of said third guide range.
- 37. An apparatus according to claim 36, wherein said first, second, third and fourth guide ranges comprises cams, respectively.
- 38. An apparatus according to claim 35, wherein said first, second and third guide ranges comprises cams, respectively.
- 39. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said operating device comprises:
- a first guide part which guides said photographic lens for magnification change;
- a second guide part which guides said photographic lens for focus adjustment, said second guide part being provided on an extension of said first guide part; and
- a third guide part which guides said photographic lens for magnification change, said third guide part being provided on an extension of said second guide part.
- 40. An apparatus according to claim 39, wherein said operating device comprises a fourth guide part which guides said photographic lens for focus adjustment, said fourth guide part being provided on an extension of said third guide part.
- 41. An apparatus according to claim 40, wherein said first, second, third and fourth guide parts comprises cams, respectively.
- 42. An apparatus according to claim 39, wherein said first, second and third guide parts comprises cams, respectively.
- 43. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said operating device comprises a guide device which guides said photographic lens, said guide device having a first guide range which guides said photographic lens with respect to magnification, a second guide range which guides said photographic lens with respect to focus adjustment, and a third guide range which guides said photographic lens with respect to magnification, wherein said second guide range is provided on an extension of said first guide range, and said third guide range is provided on an extension of said second guide range.
- 44. An apparatus according to claim 43, wherein said guide device has a fourth guide range which guides said photographic lens with respect to focus adjustment, said fourth guide range is provided on an extension of said third guide range.
- 45. An apparatus according to claim 44, wherein said first, second, third and fourth guide ranges comprises cams, respectively.
- 46. An apparatus according to claim 43, wherein said first, second, and third guide ranges comprises cams, respectively.
- 47. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3 and 5, wherein said operating device is arranged to automatically start to stow said optical unit after completion of a photographing operation.
- 48. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3 and 5, wherein said operating device is arranged to stow said optical unit in connection with a shutter release member.
- 49. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said operating device is arranged to automatically start to stow said photographic lens after completion of a photographing operation.
- 50. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said operating device is arranged to stow said photographic lens in connection with a shutter release member.
- 51. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1, 2, 3 and 5, wherein said operating device comprises means for starting to move said optical unit to the position in response to an operation of an operation member for starting photography.
- 52. An apparatus according to claim 51, wherein said operation member for starting photography comprises a shutter release member.
- 53. An apparatus according to any one of claims 4 and 6, wherein said operating device comprises means for starting to move said photographic lens to the position in response to an operation of an operation member for starting photography.
- 54. An apparatus according to claim 53, wherein said operation member for starting photography comprises a shutter release member.
- 55. An apparatus according to any one of claims 2 and 3, wherein said operating device comprises means for combining output of said detection device and output of said signal forming device.
- 56. An apparatus according to any one of claims 2 and 3, further comprising:
- a finder, a condition of said finder relating to the output of said signal forming device and not relating to said detection device.
- 57. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, further comprising:
- a finder, an operation of said finder separated from a movement of said unit.
- 58. An apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, further comprising:
- a finder operating without moving said optical unit.
