Men who work outside or inside un-air conditioned buildings, such as warehouses or participate in athletic activities, particularly in hot and humid climates, like Florida, are constantly sweating which causes male genitals, especially the testicles to rub against the legs which can result in severe chafing and discomfort. Conventional underwear for males has external openings or slits for ease of removal of the penis during urination, but do not have an internal pocket for retaining and separating the male testicles to prevent rubbing against the legs and groin. Thus, a need exists for male underwear to remedy this problem.
Attempts to remedy this problem include the following references, but none disclose a male underwear having the same structure as the present invention:

This invention relates to male underwear and more particularly to male underwear having a pouch on an inside front for holding and retaining male testicles. The primary object of the present invention is to provide male underwear to help prevent chafing and discomfort caused by male testicles rubbing against the legs and groin.
Another object of the present invention is to provide such male underwear that is comfortable to wear while working in warm humid conditions or participating in athletic activities.
The present invention fulfills the above and other objects by providing an article of male underwear having a top waist opening, two leg openings on a bottom, a front and a back, said underwear having a pocket for holding male testicles attached to an inside front of the underwear. The pocket has an open top, two sides and a bottom. The sides and bottom are closed and affixed to the inside front of the underwear. The pocket is substantially triangularly-shaped with the top being wider than the bottom. The open top of the pocket sags downwardly to more easily and comfortably accommodate the male testicles. The pocket may be sewn into, otherwise affixed to or made as part of the inside front of the male underwear.
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention should become even more readily apparent to those skilled in the art upon a reading of the following detailed description in conjunction with the drawings wherein there is shown and described illustrative embodiments of the invention.
