Claims
- 1. A manually operated trigger type dispenser, comprising:
- a dispenser body including an upper portion and a lower portion vertically extending from the upper portion;
- a bottle cap for detachable coupling the lower portion of said dispenser body with a neck of a container filled with a liquid to be dispensed;
- a cylinder defining a pump chamber and engaged with a back portion of a swingable trigger, so as to reciprocate between an upper operation-position and a lower non-operation position when said trigger is squeezed and released;
- a substantially L-shaped piston made of a synthetic resin and including a horizontal nozzle interposed within the upper portion of said dispenser body, and a vertical piston body located within the lower portion of said dispenser body, for guiding said cylinder;
- a nozzle cap having an orifice and attached to a distal end of the nozzle of said piston; and
- a return spring biasing said cylinder to the lower non-operation position thereof;
- the nozzle of said piston including a pair of plates each unitarily formed with said nozzle via a hinge, a hole being formed in each lower end portion of the plates, in which a pair of pins projecting from inner surfaces of said trigger being loosely fitted, for pivotally attaching said trigger to said nozzle.
- 2. A dispenser according to claim 1, wherein said plate has guide surfaces thereon which are located below said holes for guiding said pins into said holes.
- 3. A dispenser according to claim 2, wherein an engagement cylinder protrudes from an inner surface of one of said plates, and a projection is formed in an inner surface of the other of said plates, so as to engage with the engagement cylinder for setting said plates apart from each other by a predetermined distance.
- 4. A dispenser according to claim 1, wherein an engagement cylinder protrudes from an inner surface of one of said plates, and a projection is formed in an inner surface of the other of said plates, so as to engage with the engagement cylinder for setting said plates apart from each other by a predetermined distance.
- 5. A dispenser according to claim 1, wherein a pair of hooks, which are engageable with a proximal end of said bottle cap, are formed integrally with lower ends of said plate.
- 6. A manually operated trigger type dispenser, comprising:
- a dispenser body including an upper portion and a lower portion vertically extending from the upper portion;
- a bottle cap for detachably coupling the lower portion of said dispenser body with a neck of a container filled with a liquid to be dispensed;
- a cylinder defining a pump chamber and engaged with a back portion of a swingable trigger, so as to reciprocate between an upper-operation position and a lower non-operation position when said trigger is squeezed and released:
- a substantially L-shaped piston made of a synthetic resin and including a horizontal nozzle interposed within the upper portion of said dispenser body, and a vertical piston body located within the lower portion of said dispenser body, for guiding said cylinder, said nozzle including a pair of plates each unitiarily formed with said nozzle via a hinge;
- a nozzle cap having an orifice and attached to a distal end of the nozzle of said piston; and
- a return spring means for biasing said cylinder to said lower non-operation position thereof;
- said nozzle having holes formed in lower end portions of said plates, in which pins formed in inner surfaces of said trigger are loosely fitted, respectively, for pivotally attaching said trigger to said piston;
- said plates having guide surfaces below said respective holes, for guiding said pins into said holes;
- an engagement member protruding from an inner surface of one of said plates, and a projection formed in an inner surface of the other of said plates, so as to engage with said engagement member, for setting said plates apart from each other by a predetermined distance; and
- a pair of hooks formed integrally with lower ends of said plates, respectively and being engageable with a proximal end of said bottle cap.
- 7. A manually operated trigger type dispenser, comprising:
- a dispenser body including an upper portion and a lower portion vertically extending from the upper portion;
- a bottle cap for detachably coupling the lower portion of said dispenser body with a neck of a container filled with a liquid to be dispensed;
- a cylinder defining a pump chamber and engaged with a back portion of a swingable trigger, so as to reciprocate between an upper-operation position and a lower non-operation position when said trigger is squeezed and released;
- a substantially L-shaped piston made of a synthetic resin and including a horizontal nozzle interposed within the upper portion of said dispenser body, and a vertical piston body located within the lower portion of said dispenser body, for guiding said cylinder;
- a nozzle cap having an orifice and attached to an externally threaded portion formed on a distal end of the nozzle of said piston;
- a return spring means for biasing said cylinder to said lower non-operation position thereof; and
- stopper means for preventing an excessive movement of said nozzle cap;
- said stopper means including a thin disc having a stopper formed integrally with the nozzle of said piston upstream of externally threaded portion, and a notched inner flange formed integrally with said nozzle cap, one of an upper edge and a lower edge of said stopper being inclined and another of said upper and lower edges extending perpendicular to said thin disc, and one of an upper edge and a lower edge of said inner flange being inclined to the inner flange and another of said upper and lower edges of said inner flange extending in a radial direction of the inner flange.
