Claims
- 1. In a blow molding apparatus for use with thermoplastic material, the improvement which comprises a mold assembly comprising first and second relatively movable mold parts, each mold part having a surface with a series of relatively deep and relatively shallow grooves, which are arranged so that, when the mold parts are moved to positions wherein the mold parts are positioned to trap a web of said thermoplastic material between the mold parts, each relatively deep groove of each of the mold parts faces a relatively shallow groove of the other of the mold parts.
- 2. The mold assembly of claim 1 wherein, on each of the mold parts, the surface provided with said series of relatively deep and relatively shallow grooves is otherwise flat.
