Claims
- 1. A process for producing a pigment-containing effect paint for painting an object, wherein the pigment imparts a color effect to the paint which depends on the viewing angle and comprising pigment particles, comprising wiping and cross-linking a film of liquid-crystalline polymer onto a smooth base, detaching the film from the base, fragmenting the film into the pigment particles, and adding the pigment particles to a starting paint of a paint coat, wherein the pigment particles carry a recognizable marking which enables the object painted with the paint to be identified.
- 2. The process according to claim 1, wherein the polymer has a chiral phase.
- 3. The process according to claim 1, comprising providing the pigment particles with the marking prior to being added to the starting paint.
- 4. The process according to claim 1, wherein the pigment particles comprise a surface structure, comprising providing the surface structure with the marking prior to adding the pigment particles to the starting paint.
- 5. The process according to claim 1, comprising applying the marking during the wiping by providing a blade of a wiping knife or the base onto which the film is wiped with a fluting which negatively corresponds to the surface structure of the marking.
- 6. The process according to claim 1, comprising providing at least one side of the film and the pigment particles with a surface structure by synchrotron radiation lithography.
- 7. The process according to claim 1, comprising altering a spectral segment of the pigment particles by changing the absorption or luminescence spectrum of the pigment particles by laser radiation in a targeted manner such that the spectral segment comprises the marking.
- 8. The process according to claim 1, comprising altering a spectral segment of the pigment particles by changing the absorption or luminescence spectrum of the film prior to fragmenting the film into the pigment particles by laser radiation in a targeted manner such that the spectral segment comprises the marking.
- 9. The process according to claim 1, comprising providing the film with a color code by laser radiation of different intensity at different points.
- 10. The process according to claim 1, comprising providing the pigment particles with a color code by laser radiation of different intensity at different points.
- 11. The process according to claim 1, comprising abruptly changing a spectral segment of the film by laser radiation at certain wave lengths, thereby generating a spectral segment comprising the marking.
- 12. The process according to claim 1, comprising abruptly changing a spectral segment of the pigment particles by laser radiation at certain wave lengths, thereby generating a spectral segment comprising the marking.
