FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to systems and methods for a training simulator to train judo, box, kickbox, karate, taekwondo, martial arts, wrestling, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts).

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Today, various equipment and training simulators are used to train box and martial arts, including a hanging punching bag, dummy, free standing punching bag. These simulators are produced and used independently, thus generating high production and acquisition costs as well as spatial demands.

As to the free standing punching bags, their fit onto the base differs; the base is connected with the bag either with a spring or the connection is permanent. There is also a bag fastened with the base with a zip or Velcro, installed around the lower edge of the bag. Thus, training simulators cannot be used for other purposes. As regards the below described training simulator, the bag is inserted to the base, which is unique among known solutions. Compared to the existing solutions, the described training simulator has the advantage of triple use—as a hanging punching bag, free standing punching bag, and ball-throwing dummy.

The simulator is a multipurpose product whose advantages include variability of training, lower space demand and lower production and acquisition costs, very simple handling and assembly of the individual elements.

The above-mentioned drawbacks are eliminated by a training simulator for martial arts, the essence of which is that the simulator comprises two detachable parts where the first part comprises a cylindrical bag and the second part comprises a base with a circular base line whereas the outer diameter of the base is larger than the diameter of the bag for insertion to the base.

At the first end, the bag is equipped with at least one suspension strap and a safety segment against unintentional loosening, the second end is used for insertion to the base.

In the preferred embodiment, there are four suspension straps attached along the circumference of the first end of the bag, always two and two evenly against one another to create the composition of a cross at the first end of the bag, suspension straps are equipped with the safety segment against unintentional loosening. The safety element is formed, for instance, by Velcro fastened to the suspension straps. If the training simulator is used as a free standing punching bag, straps are secured by a safety segment; to be used as the hanging bag, the safety element will be loosened and the bag will be suspended on the specified place.

The base height is lower than the bag height; this ratio varies depending on the used material and total dimensions of the base and bag. The base is reinforced along its inner circumference; in the center, the base is equipped with a concentric circular hole with the size corresponding with the diameter of the bag to insert the bag to the base.

The base is equipped with at least one handling strap, attached along the outer circumference of the base. In the preferred embodiment, the base is equipped with two straps arranged along the outer circumference of the base one against another. These straps facilitate handling with the training simulator and, at the same time, the base can be used as a strength training tool.

In another preferred embodiment, the second end of the bag and bottom of the hole of the base are equipped with Velcro to fix the bag onto the base. Velcro is attached, for instance, along the surface of the entire diameter, as straps, parallel stripes or other shapes.

The bag is fit onto the base by insertion of the bag to the base where the base will be inserted into the base by the second end. Alternatively, the second end is equipped with Velcro; at the same time, the bottom of the base is also equipped with Velcro. The bag will be fixed onto the base by connection of soft and rough sides of Velcro. If the second end of the bag is equipped with soft side of Velcro, the bottom of the base is equipped with rough side of Velcro; soft and rough sides of Velcro can be situated the other way round. This attachment holds the bag in the base.

To assemble the training simulator, the base will be installed on the place where the bag will be supposed to stand; the bag in the vertical position will be inserted into the base, the bag will be inserted as low as possible by the body weight and swinging movements, the bag with the base will be lied down and by clapping Velcro will be fastened to create a fixed connection.

To take down the base, Velcro connection of the base and bag will be released by swinging movements, the bag will be laid down on the ground, fixed by a knee, and the base will be pushed away from the bag by hands.

After releasing the bag from the base, the bag can be used as a standard hanging punching bag. To suspend the bag, for instance on the hook, straps at the first end of the bag must be released and suspended on the defined place.

In addition, the bag can be used as a textile dummy to train throwing etc., for judo, wrestling, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). In such a case, suspension straps will be secured with a safety segment and the bag will be used alone without the base.
