Claims
- 1. A composition of materials to fabricate high resolution, low-temperature cofired ceramic-on-metal plasma display back panels, comprising:
a metal substrate having a predetermined thermal coefficient of expansion; and a glass material formulation bonded to the metal core, comprising at least two glasses such that the thermal coefficient of expansion of the formulation closely matches that of said metal substrate; wherein, a first glass material of the at least two glasses has a formulation defined by percent weight as: 23ZnO0.00-30.00MgO0.00-25.00Bphd 2O30.00-20.00SiO20.00-25.00;a second glass material of the at least two glasses has a formulation defined as: 24BaO225.00-300.00gB2O310.00-50.00gSiO235.00-70.00g; andthe mixture of the first and second glass materials has a formulation defined by percent weight as: 25first glass100.00-65.00second glass 0.00-35.00.
- 2. A green ceramic tape composition having a formulation defined by percent weight as:

A green ceramic tape composition as in claim 2 wherein glass 3 comprises at least one of the members selected from the group consisting of lead aluminum silicate, calcium zinc aluminum silicate, lead borosilicate, silicon dioxide, sodium potassium magnesium calcium barium strontium lead aluminum silicate, cordierite, and white spinel.
