Abstract
The present invention relates to a new mattress embodiment for mattresses, the embodiment allows the adjustment of the desired firmness level in the desired part of a bed that can be used in homes, hotels, workplaces etc. The invention also provides a new mattress embodiment for mattresses, that allows the adjustment firmness level in a bed a and at any moment desired by the user.
Description
REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application claims priority from Turkish patent application number 2020/17344, filed on Oct. 31, 2020, which is incorporated herein in its entirety.


FIELD OF THE INVENTION

Invention relates to a new mattress embodiment allowing adjustment of desired firmness level in the desired part of the bed used in homes, workplaces, hotels etc.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

It is well known that a person spends most of his/her daily time for sleeping and resting. There are various mattress embodiments used by people for sleeping and resting. Both physical features and complaints from the people have resulted in novelties in mattress embodiments in time.


The position and posture of the body of a person is very important for sleeping and resting in terms of health. Natural posture should be maintained during sleeping and resting. Therefore, mattress firmness plays an essential role for sleeping. For that reason, there are various embodiments in the mattress production industry.


As known, there are several mattress types, involving, in particular, materials such a sponge derivatives, springs, air, or water.


The most known feature in a mattress with firmness adjustment is the spring systems differing regionally. In this system, springs of differing firmness are placed in head-neck, head area and leg area, or sponge of differing firmness are used for production. However, with this system, all users cannot get the same level of benefit due to different physical features of people.


In another different embodiment, in double size mattresses, springs of different hardness are used on each side of the mattress where the spouses [couples] sleep. In this case, the different physical features of the spouses cause efficiency of the embodiment.


In yet a different embodiment in the related art, cells placed into air mattresses can enable the adjustment of the hardness of the mattresses by using control cells placed on the mattress separately. In this system, societies of the world having different habits regionally may have low rate of request for such mattresses.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is related to mattresses that enable the adjustment of desired areas with a desired firmness level, and at a desired time, the mattresses is the type of mattresses that can be used in homes, hotels, workplaces etc., is characterized in that it comprises:

    • Ducted sponge.
    • Sponge ducts.
    • Open-close surface.
    • Surface zipper.
    • Duct outer cord.
    • Inner cord.
    • Outer cord duct.
    • Inner concave outer cord surface.
    • Inner concave inner cord surface.


The present invention provides an embodiment allowing the attempt of a user at any desired time to adjust the firmness of different parts of any type mattress being the mattress of single or double size.


OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide instant adjustment of the firmness level of a mattresses as desired by a user and according the needs of a user, and allows the adjustment of any desired part of a mattress at a desired firmness level and thus eliminating the disadvantages of earlier methods used in the related art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to mattresses that will enable the adjustment of desired areas and desired firmness level at a desired time, and such a mattress can be used in homes, hotels, workplaces etc., and characterized in being an embodiment comprising a ducted sponge (6), sponge duct (3), open-close surface (1), surface zipper (2), duct outer cord (4), inner cord (5), outer cord duct (4.1), inner concave outer cord surface (4.2) and inner concave inner cord surface (5.1).


The present invention comprises an embodiment with adjustable firmness level and of a structure comprising open-close surface (1) and surface zipper (2) allowing performance of operation. When the function and operation is to be made, the surface zipper (2) provided on open-close surface (1) is used to enable the conduct of a firmness adjustment. Due to the placement of the surface of the zipper on lateral surface, the users can performed the adjustment process any time they want.


The ducted sponge (6) that can be placed into any layer of mattress during manufacturing stage contains multiple number of sponge ducts (3). The sponge ducts (3) can be produced in any desired shapes. They can be produced in square prism, rectangular prism, cylinder or different shapes.


The Duct outer cords (4) enabling adjustment of desired firmness are provided inside sponge ducts (3) and provided in the mattress with the adjustable firmness level of the present invention. The duct outer cords (4) are placed into sponge ducts (3) and contain inner concave outer cord surface (4.2) to minimize friction force. Thus as the contact to sponge ducts (3) on less points is provided within, then the friction force is reduced and the operation is performed more easily. In addition, the outer cord ducts (4.1) are provided to enable placement of inner cords (5) into duct outer cords (4). The inner cords (5) are provided to be placed into outer cord ducts (4.1). While inner cords (5) are placed into duct outer cords (4), an embodiment comprising inner concave cord surface (5.1) to minimize friction force is provided. Thus, since the contact to outer cord ducts (4.1) on fewer points is provided, then the friction force is reduced and the operation is performed more easily.


The duct outer cords (4) and inner cords (5) can be made from many different and various materials such as sponge and its derivatives, polymer foam, open cell sealed cell sponge and foam material, polypropylene, PVC, any rubber, and/or butadiene rubber.


In the invention, the user actuates the surface zipper (2) provided on the open-close surface (1) on the lateral surface of the mattress in order to adjust the firmness of the mattress and can reach sponge ducts (3) in the part where the user wishes to access for the adjustment of firmness. The user pushes the duct outer cords (4) into the sponge ducts (3) corresponding to the part where the firmness adjustment is intended to be made and thus can make that are firmer. When it is intending to make a firmer adjustment, the inner cords (5) are placed into the duct outer cords (4) and then the intended firmness adjustment can be made gradually.

It should be recognized that, in the light of the above teachings, those skilled in the art can modify those specifics without departing from the invention taught herein. Having now fully set forth the preferred embodiments and certain modifications of the concept underlying the present invention, various other embodiments as well as certain variations and modifications of the embodiments herein shown and described will obviously occur to those skilled in the art upon becoming familiar with such underlying concept. It is intended to include all such modifications, alternatives and other embodiments insofar as they come within the scope of the appended claims or equivalents thereof. It should be understood, therefore, that the invention may be practiced otherwise than as specifically set forth herein. Consequently, the present embodiments are to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive.

Claims
  • 1. A mattress enabling the adjustment of desired areas with a desired firmness level, comprising: ducted sponge,sponge duct,open-close surface,surface zipper,duct outer cord,inner cord,outer cord duct,inner concave outer cord surface,inner concave inner cord surface.
  • 2. The mattress of claim 1, wherein the ducted sponge is placed into different layers of mattress during the production stage.
  • 3. The mattress of claim 2, wherein the ducted sponge comprises multiple number of sponge ducts.
  • 4. The mattress of claim 1, further comprising multiple number of duct outer cords inserted into the ducted sponge.
  • 5. The mattress of claim 1, further comprising inner cords inserted into the outer cords placed into sponge ducts.
  • 6. The mattress of claim 4, further comprising an inner concave outer cord surface providing minimizing friction force during insertion into sponge ducts and when removing from thereof.
  • 7. The mattress of claim 4, further comprising outer cord ducts where inner cords are placed into outer cords.
  • 8. The mattress of claim 7, wherein the inner cords comprise an inner concave inner cord surface providing minimizing friction force during insertion into outer cords and when removing from thereof.
  • 9. The mattress of claim 1, comprising an open-close surface allowing performance of operation while conducting firmness adjustment and surface zipper providing fixing open-close surface.
