Claims
- 1. A measurement device comprising:a tray to contain an object having at least one sealable multi-layer film having at least a first layer of a water insoluble material and a second layer of an absorbent/adsorbent material superimposed and in contact with each other whereby the absorbent/adsorbent material contains a liquid when the object is applied to a liquid material, and an identifier which is attached to the object; an input device that reads the object identifier and measures a weight of the object after being applied to the liquid material; and an output unit that displays the amount of liquid in the object after the measurement device records an original weight from the identifier, measures the weight of the object after it is applied to the liquid material and after the object is placed into the tray.
- 2. The device of claim 1 wherein the object is a cleaning pad.
- 3. The device of claim 2, wherein the cleaning pad has the absorbent/adsorbent material in a corrugated form.
- 4. The device of claim 1 wherein the object is a spiral container.
- 5. The device of claim 1 wherein the object is a bag-like container.
- 6. The device of claim 1 wherein the identifier is a bar code.
- 7. The device of claim 6 wherein the input device is an infrared bar code reader.
- 8. The device of claim 6 wherein the input device is a keyboard system.
- 9. The device of claim 1 wherein the identifier is a transponder.
- 10. The device of claim 9 wherein the input device is a transceiver.
- 11. The device of claim 9 wherein the input device is a keyboard system.
- 12. The device of claim 1 wherein the tare object has the weight of the object before the object adsorbs/absorbs the liquid.
- 13. The device of claim 12 wherein the weight is entered before the object adsorbs/absorbs the liquid.
- 14. The device of claim 1 further comprising a water permeable material superimposed over the absorbent/adsorbent material and bonded to the water insoluble material at the peripheral edges of the water insoluble material and the water permeable material.
- 15. The device of claim 14 further comprising a second water insoluble material between the first water insoluble layer and the absorbent/adsorbent material.
- 16. The device of claim 1 further comprising a nullifying material for additionally treating the liquid material to nullify a specific undesirable quality thereof.
- 17. The device of claim 16 wherein the nullifying agent is mixed with absorbent/adsorbent material.
- 18. The device of claim 16 wherein the nullifying material is between a first water permeable material and the absorbent/adsorbent material.
- 19. The device of claim 15 wherein the second water insoluble material is a metal material.
