Claims
- 1. A dispenser for discharging media comprising:
a base body (6), a reservoir unit (5) retained on said base body (6) and including a first reservoir body (13) for storing a first medium and a second reservoir body (14) for storing a second medium, said first reservoir body (13) being also provided for mixing the media, a discharge unit (11) including a pump for discharging the mixed media through a medium outlet (37), said base body (6) including a mounting fixture (21) for fixing said discharge unit (11) on said first reservoir (13), said first reservoir body (13) including a first opening and a second opening apart from said first opening, said discharge unit (11) closing said first opening, said second reservoir body (14) including a third opening (51) through which the second medium is expelled into the first reservoir body (13) to be mixed with the first medium, a closure member (9, 52) sealingly closing both said second opening and the third opening, said closure member (9, 52) being made in one part and including a first sealing surface (53) and a second sealing surface spaced from said first sealing surface (53), said first sealing surface (53) directly contacting said first reservoir body (13) for sealingly closing the second opening and said second sealing surface directly and sealingly contacting said second reservoir body (14) for sealingly closing said third opening, the closure member being flexible and deformable at least at said second sealing surface, wherein said third opening (51) can be opened while said second opening remains sealingly closed.
- 2. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein said discharge unit (11) and said pump are commonly preassembled separate from said reservoir unit (5) to be useable for pump and discharge operation including a pump stroke and a return stroke substantially as long as said pump stroke.
- 3. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein the second reservoir body (14) is situated within the first reservoir body.
- 4. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein said discharge unit (11) includes a riser tube (28) projecting towards said closure member (9) and located directly adjacent to an outside of said reservoir body (14).
- 5. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein said closure member (52) is flexible in order to be deformed for opening said third opening.
- 6. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein, when said body opening (51) is opened, said closure member (9) remains fixed to said reservoir unit (5).
- 7. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein said closure member (52) engages inside both said first reservoir body (13) and second reservoir body (14).
- 8. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein said reservoir unit (5) includes a reservoir body (14) at least partially enclosing said second reservoir (8) and freely protruding toward said mounting fixture (21).
- 9. The dispenser according to claim 1 and further including a reservoir body (13) and including necks and a reservoir belly wider than said reservoir necks, said reservoir necks including a first neck (19) and a second neck (20) spaced from said first neck (19), said first neck including said mounting fixture (21) and being in one part with said second neck (20), a closure member (52) being included and made in one part, said closure member (52) including an annular flange (53) directly supporting on said second neck (20) and freely protruding radially outwardly, said closure member (52) sealingly closing said second neck (20).
- 10. The dispenser according to claim 1 and further including a reservoir body (14) including a reservoir jacket (16) and a reservoir bottom (25) connected to said reservoir jacket (16), said reservoir jacket (16) defining a body opening (51) which is closed by said closure member (9), and means being included for opening said reservoir body (14) into the first medium with said body opening (51) being opened.
- 11. The dispenser according to claim 10, wherein said merging means include a handle (49) for entirely pushing said reservoir body (14) into the first medium.
- 12. The dispenser according to claim 11, wherein said reservoir (14) is fixed to said closure member (9) with a snap fit, said opening (51) being openable by actuating said handle (49).
- 13. The dispenser according to claim 10, wherein said closure member (9) engages inside said reservoir jacket (16).
- 14. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein the closure member engages inside said opening (51) and means (48) are included for radially constricting said closure member.
- 15. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein said pump includes a thrust piston pump including a pressure chamber (30) and a spring (46) powering a return stroke, said pump including a piston unit (31) including a pump piston and an outlet valve (33) for said pressure chamber (30).
- 16. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein means are included for preventing ingress of germs into at least one of said first reservoir body (13) and said second reservoir body (14).
- 17. A dispenser for discharging media comprising:
a base body (6), a reservoir unit (5) retained on said base body (6) and including a first reservoir body (13) for storing a first medium and a second reservoir body (14) for storing a second medium, said first reservoir body (13) being also provided for mixing the media, a discharge unit (11) including a pump for discharging the mixed media through a medium outlet (37), said base body (6) including a mounting fixture (21) for fixing said discharge unit (11) on said first reservoir body (13), said second reservoir body (14) including a bottom wall (25) and an opening spaced from said bottom wall (25), said opening (51) being closed by a closure member (9) made in one part, said bottom wall (25) being movable and together with said closure member (9) bounding said second reservoir body (14), and wherein said bottom wall (25) is moved toward said mounting fixture (21) for opening said opening (51) and, when said opening (51) is opened said closure member (9) remains fixed to said reservoir unit (5).
- 18. A dispenser for discharging media comprising:
a base body (6), a reservoir unit (5) retained on said base body (6) and including a first reservoir body (13) for storing a first medium and a second reservoir body (14) for storing a second medium, said first reservoir body (13) being also provided for mixing the media, a discharge unit (11) including a pump for discharging the mixed media through a medium outlet (37), said base body (6) including a mounting fixture (21) for fixing said discharge unit (11) on said first reservoir body (13), said second reservoir body (14) including a reservoir jacket (16) and a bottom (25) fixed to said jacket (16), which jacket bounds an opening (51) closed by a closing member (9), merging means for merging said second reservoir body (14) into the first medium with said opening opened, the merging means including a handle (49), which can be actuated for opening said opening (51) and entirely pushing said second reservoir body (14) into the first medium, said second reservoir body (14) being fixed to said closure member (9) with a snap fit.
- 19. A dispenser for discharging media comprising:
a base body (6), a reservoir unit (5) retained on said base body (6) and including a first reservoir body (13) for storing a first medium and a second reservoir body (14) for storing a second medium, merging means (27) being provided for merging the media from the first reservoir body (13) and the second reservoir body (14), a discharge unit (11) including a pump for discharging the merged media through a medium outlet (37), said base body (6) including a mounting fixture (21) for fixing said discharge unit (11) on said first reservoir body (13), and a vent being included for internally venting said merging means (27).
- 20. The dispenser according to claim 1, wherein the discharge unit (11) has an operating pusher which is, in a rest position, inhibited from being operated by a protective cap, which is provided to be moved, before operating the discharge unit to a release position, in which the operating pusher is enabled to be operated, said cap having locking means to be locked in the release position, and having opening means for opening the second reservoir body (14) and enabling merging of the media.
- 21. The dispenser according to claim 20, wherein the cap, in the rest position, at least partly covers the operating pusher.
- 22. The dispenser according to claim 20, wherein the cap is held in the release position by a snap joint.
- 23. The dispenser according to claim 20, wherein the opening means comprise an opening pusher formed inside the cap and acting on the closure member (52).
- 24. The dispenser according to claim 20, wherein the closure member (52) is a flexible circular bellow having an outer ring section cooperating with the first reservoir body to seal the second opening and an inner ring section cooperating with the second reservoir body to seal the third opening, the opening pusher being provided to act on the inner ring section to deform the closure member to open the third opening and to displace the second reservoir body within the first reservoir body.
- 25. The dispenser according to claim 24, wherein the closure member has at least one thin substantially sleeve-like section, between the outer and inner ring section.
- 26. The dispenser according to claim 20, wherein the discharge unit is situated beside and spaced from the second reservoir body and its closure member, the operating pusher, the cap and the opening means being moveable in a same direction.
- 27. The dispenser according to claim 20, wherein the first reservoir body has, in cross-section, a figure-8 shape with a smaller compartment for the discharge unit and a larger compartment for the second reservoir body.
