Claims
- 1. An information recording medium which comprises a semiconductor layer and a ferroelectric layer formed thereon, said ferroelectric layer having a surface resistivity of not less than 1.0.times.10.sup.10 .OMEGA. and a volume resistivity of not less than 1.0.times.10.sup.8 .OMEGA.cm,
- wherein information is recorded on the recording medium by local polarization of the ferroelectric layer.
- 2. An information recording medium which comprises a semiconductor layer and a ferroelectric layer formed thereon, said ferroelectric layer having a surface resistivity of not less than 1.0.times.10.sup.11 .OMEGA. and a volume resistivity of not less than 1.0.times.10.sup.9 .OMEGA.cm;
- wherein information is recorded on the recording medium by local polarization of the ferroelectric layer.
