Claims
- 1. A one-chip memory device comprising:
- a data terminal to be supplied with a data signal;
- address terminals to be supplied with address signals; and
- DRAM elements, formed within the chip, to be accessed in accordance with said address signals,
- the said one-chip further comprising:
- a register which stores control data for controlling a data write operation to the DRAM elements, and
- an external control terminal to be supplied with an external control signal which identifies that the register is to be accessed,
- wherein an access address which is different from access addresses allocated to the DRAM elements is allocated to the register, and
- wherein the control data is set into the register in case that the external control signal is supplied with the external control terminal.
- 2. One-chip memory device according to claim 1 wherein the control data, from the data terminal is set into the register when the external control signal is supplied to the external control terminal.
- 3. A one-chip memory device according to claim 1,
- wherein the control data is mask data for controlling a data write operation of bit unit of image data into the DRAM elements.
- 4. A one-chip memory device according to claim 2, wherein the control data is mask data for controlling a data write operation of bit unit of image data into the DRAM elements.
- 5. A one-chip memory device for storing image data comprising:
- a data terminal to be supplied with a data signal;
- address terminals to be supplied with address signals; and
- DRAM elements, formed within the chip, to be accessed in accordance with said address signals, the one-chip further comprising:
- a plurality of registers which store control data for controlling a data write operation to the DRAM elements, and
- an external control terminal to be supplied with an external control signal which identifies that at least one of the plurality of registers is to be accessed,
- wherein an access address which is different from access addresses allocated to the DRAM elements is allocated to at least one of the plurality of registers, and
- wherein mask data for controlling a data write operation of bit unit of image data into the DRAM elements is set into one of the plurality of registers in case that the external control signal is supplied with the external control terminal.
- 6. A one-chip memory device according to claim 5 wherein the mask, from the data terminal is set into the one register when the external control signal is supplied to the external control terminal.
- 7. One-chip memory device according to claim 5,
- wherein data supplied from the address terminals are set into another register of the plurality of registers in case that the external control signal is supplied with the external control terminal.
- 8. A one-chip memory device according to claim 6,
- wherein data supplied from the address terminals are set into another register of the plurality of registers when the external control signal is supplied to the external control terminal.
