The present disclosure claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202121128133.9, filed with the Chinese Patent Office on May 24, 2021, titled “MESH FRAME AND CHAIR”, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the technical field of chairs, and in particular, relate to a mesh frame and a chair.
In conventional mesh frames, for example, a cushion mesh frame, meshes are generally fixed by directly sleeving the meshes onto the outer sides of the frame. This fixing fashion exposes the meshes on the sides of the body of the frame, affecting appearance of the chair, and causing the mesh to be easily subject to damage and wear. In some other fixing fashions, the meshes are covered on a face of the body of the frame and wrapped over the ridge of the outer edge of the frame, and then snapped or fitted on the ridge of the outer edge of the body of the frame by a snap strip or a fixing frame. In this way, the mesh is fixed and clamped on the body of the frame. The mounting is complicated, and the snap strip or the fixing frame are additionally needed to achieve fixing of the mesh. Therefore, production and assembling efficiencies are low.
In view of the above problem, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a mesh frame and a chair, to simplify a structure of the mesh frame and mounting of the mesh, improve production and assembling efficiencies, and beautify the chair and protect the mesh from wear and damage.
According to one aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, a mesh frame is provided. The mesh frame includes a side frame, wherein the side frame includes a first face in contact with a human body during use. The first face is provided with a recess. The recess obliquely extends towards an inner side of the side frame and is configured to snap a mesh to the mesh frame.
In an optional embodiment, a minimum distance between an opening of the recess and an outer edge of the side frame is greater than 2 mm.
In an optional embodiment, inner walls of two sides of the recess are parallel to each other, wherein the inner walls of the two sides of the recess are arranged to face each other.
In an optional embodiment, a width between the inner walls of the two sides of the recess ranges from 2 to 5 mm.
In an optional embodiment, heights of the inner walls of the two sides of the recess both range from 5 to 20 mm.
In an optional embodiment, a minimum distance between the inner wall of the recess and an inner edge of the side frame is greater than 2 mm.
In an optional embodiment, an arc chamfer is arranged at an opening of the recess.
In an optional embodiment, the mesh frame includes at least one or more of a cushion mesh frame, a backrest mesh frame, a lumbar support mesh frame, and a headrest mesh frame.
In an optional embodiment, the first face of the side frame is provided with the mesh, an outer edge of the mesh being snap-fitted into the recess; wherein
a thickness of the outer edge of the mesh is greater than a minimum width of the recess; or
the outer edge of the mesh is elastic.
In an optional embodiment, the first face of the side frame is provided with the mesh, an outer edge of the mesh being snap-fitted into the recess; wherein
the outer edge of the mesh is fixed with a snap strip, the snap strip being snapped into the recess; or
the mesh frame includes a snap strip, the snap strip being snapped into the recess, and the outer edge of the mesh is clamped between the snap strip and the recess.
A distance from the opening of the recess to an outer edge of the mesh frame is l1, and a distance from a bottom wall of the recess to the outer edge of the mesh frame is l2, wherein l1<l2, such that the recess is obliquely arranged.
An x direction is a direction horizontally pointing from an outer side of the mesh frame to an interior, a y direction is a depthwise direction pointing from the bottom wall of the recess to the opening , and the x direction and the y direction define an angle within a range of 90°<α<180°.
The recess is arranged to be annular, and surround an edge of the first face of the mesh frame by one turn.
Two recesses are symmetrically arranged, which are respectively arranged on two opposite edges of the first face of the mesh frame, by receiving and snap-fitting of the two sides of the mesh, the mesh being fixed to the mesh frame.
According to another aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, a chair is provided. The chair includes the mesh frame.
By the obliquely arranged recess, the mesh, when being mounted on the side frame of the mesh frame, may be sleeved onto the recess. In addition, by obliquely arranging the recess, the outer edge of the mesh may be effectively snap-fitted into the recess, which facilitates stably and securely sleeving of the mesh onto the mesh frame. Furthermore, the mesh frame has a simple structure, and mounting of the mesh is convenient and quick, which may effectively improve production and assembling efficiencies. Meanwhile, the recess is arranged on the first face of the mesh frame that is in contact with the human body during use, such that the outer edge of the mesh frame has a complete and smooth surface, and a beautiful structure.

In one aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, a mesh frame and a chair are provided, to simplify a structure of the mesh frame and mounting of the mesh, improve production and assembling efficiencies, and beautify the chair.
Referring to
As illustrated in the drawings, a mesh frame 100 includes a side frame 110. The side frame 110 includes a first face 111 that is in contact with a human body during use. The first surface 111 is provided with a recess 120. The recess 120 obliquely extends towards an inner side of the side frame 110, and is configured to snap a mesh to the mesh frame 100.
Specifically, a distance from an opening 121 of the recess 120 to an outer edge of the mesh frame 100 is l1, and a distance from a bottom wall 122 of the recess 120 to the outer edge of the mesh frame 100 is l2, wherein l1<l2, such that the recess 120 is obliquely arranged. In
By the obliquely arranged recess 120, the mesh, when being mounted on the side frame 110 of the mesh frame 100, may be sleeved onto the recess 120. In addition, by obliquely arranging the recess 120, the outer edge of the mesh may be effectively snap-fitted into the recess 120, which facilitates stably and securely sleeving of the mesh onto the mesh frame 100. Furthermore, the mesh frame 100 has a simple structure, and mounting of the mesh is convenient and quick, which may address the problem that a snap strip needs to be arranged to tightly press the mesh or a two-layer structure needs to be arranged to tightly press the mesh, and may effectively improve production and assembling efficiencies. Meanwhile, the recess 120 is arranged on the first face 111 of the mesh frame 100 that is in contact with the human body during use, such that the outer edge of the mesh frame 100 has a complete and smooth surface, and a beautiful structure.

A person skilled in the art shall understand that the illustrations in the drawings are merely examples, and in other embodiments, two recesses 120 may also be symmetrically arranged, which are respectively arranged on two opposite edges of the first face 111 of the mesh frame. By receiving and snap-fitting of the two sides of the mesh, the mesh is fixed to the mesh frame 100.

When the width w between the inner walls of the two sides of the recess 120 is too small, the edge of the mesh fails to be snap-fitted. When the width w between the inner walls of the two sides of the recess 120 is too large, the mesh may be easily released from the recess. Therefore, the width w between the inner walls of the two sides of the recess 120 is defined to be within the range of 2 to 5 mm to ensure that the edge of the mesh is smoothly snap-fitted and is not easily released from the recess.
Still referring to
When heights h of the inner walls of the two sides of the recess 120 are too small, the mesh fails to be securely connected. When the heights h are too large, a thickness of the structure of the mesh frame 100 may be increased, and machining may be difficult and production cost may be increased. Therefore, the heights h of the inner walls of the two sides of the recess 120 is defined to be within the range of 5 to 20 mm, such that the mesh is stably and securely connected, and the machining is convenient.
It should be noted that when the heights of the inner walls of the two sides of the recess 120 are inconsistent, the heights both need to be ensured to be within the range of 5 to 20 mm. The height of the inner wall, proximal to the outer edge of the mesh frame 100, of the recess 120 is defined in order to ensure a clean and attractive surface of the outer structure of the mesh frame 100. The height of the inner wall, proximal to the interior of the mesh frame 100, of the recess 120 is defined in order to ensure that the mesh is effectively snap-fitted into the recess 120.
Referring to
It should be noted that description and illustration hereinafter of the embodiments of the mesh frame 100 are all given using the cushion mesh frame as an example. However, the practice is not limited to the cushion mesh frame, and the same applies to the backrest mesh frame 200, the lumbar support mesh frame 300, and the headrest mesh frame 400.
Still referring to
When the mesh is sleeved onto the mesh frame 100, configuration of the arc chamfer may effectively prevent the chamfer or edge from scratching the mesh and thus causing unnecessary loss, and ensure that the structure is stable and reliable when the mesh is sleeved onto the mesh frame 100.
Still referring to
l3 is defined to be greater than 2 mm in order to ensure a specific wall thickness of the side frame 110 at the recess 120, and to prevent the side frame 110 from being bent and broken due to smaller wall thickness, and hence prevent the structure of the mesh frame 100 from damage.
According to another aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, a chair is provided, which is capable of reducing steps of mounting the mesh, improving stability in fixing the mesh, and simplifying the structure of the mesh frame. In this way, production cost of the chair is lowered, and assembling efficiency of the chair is improved.

In a specific embodiment as illustrated in
A person skilled in the art shall understand that the illustrations in the drawings are only examples. In other embodiments, the mesh frame may include at least one or more of the cushion mesh frame 500, the backrest mesh frame 200, the lumbar support mesh frame 300, and the headrest mesh frame 400.
In some embodiments, a thickness of an outer edge of the mesh 600 may be greater than a minimum width of the recess.
The thickness of the outer edge of the mesh 600 is defined to be greater than the minimum width of the recess, such that when the mesh 600 is snap-fitted into the recess, the recess applies a specific clipping force to the mesh 600. In this way, the mesh 600 is prevented from releasing when a human body is seated on the mesh 600 or leans against the mesh 600.
In some embodiments, the outer edge of the mesh 600 is elastic.
The outer edge of the mesh 600 is defined to be elastic, such that when the outer edge of the mesh 600 is snap-fitted into the recess, a specific force is applied to an inner wall of the recess facing towards the interior of the mesh frame. In this way, the mesh 600 is reliably and securely snap-fitted onto the mesh frame.
Referring to
The snap strip 700 is snapped into the recess. The outer edge of the mesh 600 is clamped between the snap strip and the recess.
Configuring the mesh 600 and the snap strip 700 as separate structures facilitates disassembling and replacement of the mesh 600.
Referring to
In practice, the snap strip 700 may be fixed to the outer edge of the mesh 600 by bonding or sewing.
The snap strip 700 is fixed to the outer edge of the mesh 600 to form an integral structure with the mesh 600. In this way, the number of parts may be reduced, and hence mounting and fixing of the mesh 600 on the mesh frame may be facilitated.
In the chair 10 according to the embodiments of the present disclosure, configuration of the mesh frame achieves quick and convenient mounting of the mesh 600.
Specifically, by configuring the recess on the first face 111 in contact with the human body during use of the mesh frame, the mesh 600 is prevented from being sleeved onto the outer edge of the mesh frame, such that the entire structure is less attractive, and wear may be easily caused to the mesh 600. In addition, no fixing frame needs to be covered on the mesh 600 to fix and protect the mesh. This simplifies the structure for fixing the mesh, reduces the production cost, and effectively improves the efficiency of mounting the mesh 600. Upon assembling of the mesh 600 on the mesh frame of the chair 10, from the perspective of a side, the edge of the mesh frame on the outer side of the recess is presented. Therefore, during manufacture and design, a better visual effect and a quality sensation of the chair 10 may be achieved by changing colors and shapes and structures of the outer edge of the mesh frame.
