FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view taken along line 3-3 of FIG. 2;

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the metal end component of a spool for wire or the like of FIG. 1 as seen from the opposite side, the opening encircled by the stippled line and referenced as “FIG. 5” being part of the design; and,

FIG. 5 is an enlarged fragmentary view of the opening in FIG. 4.
