Claims
- 1. A method for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances in a vital sample, comprising on-line connecting a gel permeation chromatography (GPC) column and a gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC/MS) via line change-over means, passing a vital sample solution containing endocrine-disrupting substances through the GPC column to remove high molecular weight components and water content, accumulating the remaining low molecular weight fractions in the line, and then introducing the fractions all at once into GC/MS to automatically analyze the fractions.
- 2. The method for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fat content, dye and water content in the vital sample solution are removed by the GPC column.
- 3. The method for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the GPC column is a polyvinyl alcohol-base hard gel-packed column or a polystyrene-base hard gel-packed column.
- 4. The method for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 3, wherein polyvinyl alcohol-base or polystyrene-base hard gel packing material whose degree of swelling in acetone (100%) is 70 to 100 and whose degree of swelling in acetone/cyclohexane=50/50 (v/v %) and in ethyl acetate/cyclohexane=50/50 (v/v %) is from 85 to 100 is used, assuming that the degree of swelling at the dipping in dichloromethane (100%) is 100.
- 5. The method for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 3, wherein a packing material of the GPC column has an average particle size of 4 to 20 um and an exclusion limit molecular weight of 500 to 40,000 in terms of polystyrene.
- 6. The method for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 3, wherein polyvinyl alcohol-base hard gel is used as GPC column packing material, comprising reducing water content in the vital sample to 10% or less.
- 7. The method for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 3, wherein polystyrene-base hard gel is used as GPC column packing material, comprising reducing water content in the vital sample to 2% or less.
- 8. The method for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 1, wherein a mixed solvent of acetone and cyclohexane, a mixed solvent of ethyl acetate and cyclohexane or a mixed solvent of dichloromethane and cyclohexane is used as an eluent for the GPC column.
- 9. An apparatus for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances, which is an on-line GPC-GC/MS apparatus comprising a gel permeation chromatography (GPC) column (1), means (P1) for injecting a carrier (eluent) into the GPC column, a sample inlet part (2) provided on the flow path connecting the carrier injection means (P1) and the GPC column, flow path-changeover means (3) for introducing a necessary GPC fraction to a sample accumulating part (4), connected to the discharge part of the GPC column (1), means (P2) for introducing the GPC fractions accumulated in the sample accumulating part (4) into a gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC/MS), and GC/MS (5), wherein the GPC column is a polyvinyl alcohol-base hard gel-packed column or a polystyrene-base hard gel-packed column and the low molecular weight fraction after removing high molecular weight components and water content from a vital sample solution containing endocrine-disrupting substances through the GPC column (1) is accumulated in the sample accumulating part (4) and then injected all at once into the GC/MS (5) to perform the identification and determination of endocrine-disrupting substances in the sample.
- 10. The apparatus for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 9, comprising a means for detecting the analysis-disturbing components and water between gel permeation chromatography (GPC) column (1) and flow path-changeover means (3).
- 11. The apparatus for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 9 or 10, comprising a recording means for storing qualitative/quantitative data of GC/MS concerning a plurality of endocrine-disrupting substances and calculation means for correcting these data based on the GC/MS actual value corresponding to the internal standard in the sample may be provided, whereby the identification and determination of endocrine-disrupting substances can be automatically performed by referring to the GC/MS data corrected based on the GC/MS actual value in the sample.
- 12. The method for analyzing endocrine-disrupting substances as claimed in claim 4, wherein a packing material of the GPC column has an average particle size of 4 to 20 um and an exclusion limit molecular weight of 500 to 40,000 in terms of polystyrene.
