Claims
- 1. A method for call setup in a wireless communication system comprising:
encapsulating a plurality of signaling messages to form an encapsulated message; and transmitting the encapsulated message.
- 2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
applying an error correction mechanism to the encapsulated message.
- 3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
applying an error correction mechanism to each message within the encapsulated message.
- 4. An apparatus used to set up a call in a wireless communication system, comprising:
an encapsulation module adapted to encapsulate a plurality of messages into an encapsulated message; and a processor adapted to provide messages to the encapsulation module.
- 5. A wireless infrastructure element in a wireless communication system comprising:
means for encapsulating a plurality of signaling messages to form an encapsulated message; and means for transmitting the encapsulated message.
