Claims
- 1. A composition for selectively removing chlorine gas from a humidified gaseous stream at about ambient temperature comprising chlorine dioxide and chlorine comprising soda-lime particles having an average particle size of about 10 mesh or smaller.
- 2. The composition of claim 1, wherein said soda-lime particles have an average particle size of about 16 mesh or smaller.
- 3. A method for selectively removing chlorine gas from a humidified gaseous mixture at about ambient temperature comprising chlorine dioxide and chlorine, comprising
- contacting said gaseous stream with a composition comprising solid soda-lime particles having an average particle size of about 10 mesh or smaller.
