Claims
- 1. A transfer rack which is loaded with a specified number of component accommodating members positioned and supported individually and comprises a storage means for storing component information of a type of the component stored in each supported component accommodating member.
- 2. A truck for collectively changing components at a component supply section, comprising a main body having running wheels, the main body being provided with a guide means for guiding a transfer rack in passing the transfer rack by loading and unloading the transfer rack at a component supply section of an objective working machine and a retaining means for retaining the transfer rack received on the guide means.
- 3. The truck claimed in claim 2, comprising a stopper means for preventing the main body from running with the running wheels.
- 4. The truck as claimed in claim 3, comprising a connecting means for connecting the component supply section with the main body in a state in which the main body is put in a specified positional relation with the component supply section of the objective working machine.
- 5. The truck as claimed in claim 3, comprising a height adjusting means for adjusting in height a transfer rack support section.
- 6. The truck as claimed in claim 2, comprising a connecting means for connecting the component supply section with the main body in a state in which the main body is put in a specified positional relation with the component supply section of the objective working machine.
- 7. The truck as claimed in claim 6, comprising a height adjusting means for adjusting in height a transfer rack support section.
- 8. The truck as claimed in claim 2, comprising a height adjusting means for adjusting in height a transfer rack support section.
- 9. An apparatus for collectively changing electronic components at an electronic component supply section, comprising:
a plurality of component supply cassettes for storing electronic components; a component supply section for supplying electronic components from said plurality of component supply cassettes to an electronic component mounting machine according to a mounting requirement of the electronic component mounting machine; and a transfer rack loaded with said plurality of component supply cassettes, each of said component supply cassettes being individually positioned and supported in said transfer rack such that each of said component supply cassettes is capable of being individually loaded onto and unloaded from said transfer rack, said transfer rack being operable to collectively manipulate said component supply cassettes.
- 10. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein said transfer rack is operable to be delivered into said component supply section in a delivery direction, said component supply section including a positioning device for automatically positioning said transfer rack at said component supply section in a direction parallel to the delivery direction and in a direction perpendicular to the delivery direction.
- 11. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein said component supply section has guide rollers for guiding both sides of said transfer rack into a specified receiving position.
- 12. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein said component supply section has a positioning support section for supporting said delivered transfer rack such that said delivered transfer rack is positioned at a specified height, and has a loading and unloading guide for guiding said transfer rack by lifting said transfer rack from said positioning support section as said transfer rack is being delivered to and removed from said component supply section.
- 13. The apparatus of claim 10, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 14. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein said positioning device includes:
a front end portion receiving member for receiving a front end portion of said transfer rack at a specified position; a first pressure member for protruding into and retracting from a delivery path of said transfer rack, said first pressure member being operable to apply pressure against a rear portion of said transfer rack so as to force said transfer rack in the delivery direction against said front end portion receiving member; a side portion receiving member at a side of the delivery path of said transfer rack for receiving a side portion of said transfer rack; and a second pressure member operable to apply pressure against a side portion of said transfer rack so as to force said transfer rack in a direction perpendicular to the delivery direction against said side portion receiving member.
- 15. The apparatus of claim 14, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 16. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said component supply section has guide rollers for guiding both sides of said transfer rack into a specified receiving position.
- 17. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said component supply section has a positioning support section for supporting said delivered transfer rack such that said delivered transfer rack is positioned at a specified height, and has a loading and unloading guide for guiding said transfer rack by lifting said transfer rack from said positioning support section as said transfer rack is being delivered to and removed from said component supply section.
- 18. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said first pressure member comprises a lever and said second pressure member comprises an eccentric shaft.
- 19. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein said transfer rack includes portions having roller members for abutting against said front end portion receiving member and said first pressure member.
- 20. The apparatus of claim 18, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 21. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein said component supply section has guide rollers for guiding both sides of said transfer rack into a specified receiving position.
- 22. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein said component supply section has a positioning support section for supporting said delivered transfer rack such that said delivered transfer rack is positioned at a specified height, and has a loading and unloading guide for guiding said transfer rack by lifting said transfer rack from said positioning support section as said transfer rack is being delivered to and removed from said component supply section.
- 23. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said transfer rack includes portions having roller members for abutting against said front end portion receiving member and said first pressure member.
- 24. The apparatus of claim 23, wherein said component supply section has guide rollers for guiding both sides of said transfer rack into a specified receiving position.
- 25. The apparatus of claim 23, wherein said component supply section has a positioning support section for supporting said delivered transfer rack such that said delivered transfer rack is positioned at a specified height, and has a loading and unloading guide for guiding said transfer rack by lifting said transfer rack from said positioning support section as said transfer rack is being delivered to and removed from said component supply section.
- 26. The apparatus of claim 23, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 27. The apparatus of claim 9, further comprising:
a truck operable to move with said transfer rack carried thereon; and a guide device at said component supply section and at said truck for guiding said transfer rack as said transfer rack is passed between said component supply section and said truck.
- 28. The apparatus of claim 27, wherein said component supply section has guide rollers for guiding both sides of said transfer rack into a specified receiving position.
- 29. The apparatus of claim 27, wherein said component supply section has a positioning support section for supporting said delivered transfer rack such that said delivered transfer rack is positioned at a specified height, and has a loading and unloading guide for guiding said transfer rack by lifting said transfer rack from said positioning support section as said transfer rack is being delivered to and removed from said component supply section.
- 30. The apparatus of claim 27, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 31. The apparatus of claim 27, wherein said truck has a retaining device for retaining said transfer rack on said truck, and has a height adjusting device for adjusting a height of said truck so as to adjust a vertical position of said transfer rack.
- 32. The apparatus of claim 31, wherein said component supply section has guide rollers for guiding both sides of said transfer rack into a specified receiving position.
- 33. The apparatus of claim 31, wherein said component supply section has a positioning support section for supporting said delivered transfer rack such that said delivered transfer rack is positioned at a specified height, and has a loading and unloading guide for guiding said transfer rack by lifting said transfer rack from said positioning support section as said transfer rack is being delivered to and removed from said component supply section.
- 34. The apparatus of claim 31, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 35. The apparatus of claim 31, further comprising a height detecting device for determining a height of a transfer rack support section of said truck in relation to a height of said component supply section.
- 36. The apparatus of claim 35, wherein said positioning device includes:
a front end portion receiving member for receiving a front end portion of said transfer rack at a specified position; a first pressure member for protruding into and retracting from a delivery path of said transfer rack, said first pressure member being operable to apply pressure against a rear portion of said transfer rack so as to force said transfer rack in the delivery direction against said front end portion receiving member; a side portion receiving member at a side of the delivery path of said transfer rack for receiving a side portion of said transfer rack; and a second pressure member operable to apply pressure against a side portion of said transfer rack so as to force said transfer rack in a direction perpendicular to the delivery direction against said side portion receiving member.
- 37. The apparatus of claim 35, wherein said component supply section has guide rollers for guiding both sides of said transfer rack into a specified receiving position.
- 38. The apparatus of claim 35, wherein said component supply section has a positioning support section for supporting said delivered transfer rack such that said delivered transfer rack is positioned at a specified height, and has a loading and unloading guide for guiding said transfer rack by lifting said transfer rack from said positioning support section as said transfer rack is being delivered to and removed from said component supply section.
- 39. The apparatus of claim 35, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 40. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein said component supply section has guide rollers for guiding both sides of said transfer rack into a specified receiving position.
- 41. The apparatus of claim 40, wherein said component supply section has a positioning support section for supporting said delivered transfer rack such that said delivered transfer rack is positioned at a specified height, and has a loading and unloading guide for guiding said transfer rack by lifting said transfer rack from said positioning support section as said transfer rack is being delivered to and removed from said component supply section.
- 42. The apparatus of claim 40, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 43. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein said component supply section has a positioning support section for supporting said delivered transfer rack such that said delivered transfer rack is positioned at a specified height, and has a loading and unloading guide for guiding said transfer rack by lifting said transfer rack from said positioning support section as said transfer rack is being delivered to and removed from said component supply section.
- 44. The apparatus of claim 43, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 45. The apparatus of claim 9, further comprising:
a storage device for storing electronic component information about a type of electronic component stored in each of said component supply cassettes, said storage device being located at one of said transfer rack and each of said component supply cassettes; a detecting device for detecting a delivery and a removal of a transfer rack at said component supply section; and a decision device for determining if said transfer rack has been replaced based on a detection of said detecting device, and for determining if the electronic components in said component supply cassettes of said transfer rack are suitable after said replacement of said transfer rack based on the electronic component information stored in said storage device.
- 46. The apparatus of claim 45, wherein said storage device is operable to read and write.
- 47. The apparatus of claim 45, further comprising a mode selecting device for selecting one of a group of decision modes, said group of decision modes including a first mode wherein a propriety of each electronic component is not determined, a second mode wherein a propriety of each electronic component stored on all component supply cassettes is determined, and a third mode wherein a propriety of each electronic component stored on required component supply cassettes is determined, said decision device being operable to determine if said transfer rack has been replaced when in a selected mode.
- 48. The apparatus of claim 47, wherein said storage device is operable to read and write.
- 49. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein said plurality of component supply cassettes are arranged in said transfer rack in a series.
