Claims
- 1. An apparatus for providing a high-viscosity, foamed material, comprising:
a container; means for supplying a gas to the container; means for initiating supply of a high-viscosity material into the gas within the container after finishing the supply of the gas to the container; means for mixing the gas and the material to produce a mixture; and means for discharging the mixture to provide a high-viscosity, foamed material.
- 2. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the means for mixing is for mixing the gas and material to produce a mixture by spreading the gas into the high-viscosity material.
- 3. An apparatus for foaming a viscous material comprising:
(a) a pump; (b) a first device adapted to introduce gas into the pump; (c) a second device operable to introduce viscous material into the pump after finishing introduction of the gas to form a mixture of gas and viscous material; (d) a tubular conduit adapted to disperse the gas into the viscous material by passing the material through the tubular conduit; and (e) a discharge device adapted to discharge the mixture of gas and viscous material to form a foam.
- 4. An apparatus according to claim 3, wherein said first device adapted to introduce the gas into the pump is adapted to introduce the gas at a pressure of 0.1 to 5 Kg/cm2.
- 5. A method for providing a high-viscosity foamed material, comprising:
supplying a gas under a first pressure; supplying a high-viscosity material under a second pressure into the supplied gas after finishing the supply of the gas, the second pressure being higher than the first pressure; mixing the gas and the material to produce a mixture; and discharging the mixture to provide a high-viscosity, foamed material.
- 6. The method of claim 5, wherein the first pressure is 0.1 to 5 Kg/cm2.
- 7. The method of claim 6, wherein the second pressure is 100 to 300 Kg/cm2.
- 8. The method of claim 5, wherein the first pressure is 0.1 to 3 Kg/cm2.
- 9. The method of claim 8, wherein the second pressure is 150 to 250 Kg/cm2.
- 10. An apparatus for providing a high-viscosity, foamed material, comprising:
a container; a gas supplying device operable to supply gas to said container at a first pressure; a high-viscosity material supplying device operable to supply a high-viscosity material into said container at a second pressure after finishing the supply of the gas to the container, said second pressure being greater than said first pressure; a gas mixing device for mixing the gas and the high-viscosity material to produce a mixture; and a discharge device for discharging the mixture to provide a high-viscosity, foamed material.
- 11. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein said gas supplying device and said high-viscosity material supplying device comprise valves controlling the supply of gas and high-viscosity material to said container.
