Claims
- 1. An apparatus for processing light sensitive material, the apparatus comprising at least one movable applicator for applying a fixed volume of processing solution to the surface of the material being processed, means for moving the applicator backwards and forwards along the length of the material to enable mixing of the solution on the surface, and means for moving the at least one applicator from a position in contact with the material to a position out of contact with the material such that the process cycle is variable.
- 2. An apparatus according to claim 1 wherein extension and retraction means are provided for moving the applicator into and out of contact with the material.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 1 wherein hinge means are provided for moving the applicator into and out of contact with the material.
- 4. An apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein a rotary means are provided for moving the web of material.
- 5. An apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the applicator includes a pad of absorbent material.
