Claims
- 1. A waveform producing method comprising:a step of designating, along with a performance event, a style-of-rendition module representative of a style-of-rendition waveform to be produced, said style-of-rendition module including, at an en route point of a time axis of the style-of-rendition waveform, position information indicative of a particular position of the waveform that is to be adjusted to coincide with an occurrence time of the performance event; a step of determining control timing of a style-of-rendition waveform of the style-of-rendition module designated by said step of designating, in accordance with the position information in the designated style-of-rendition module and the designated performance event, and a step of synthesizing, on the basis of the style-of-rendition waveform of the designated style-of-rendition module having said control timing determined by said step of determining, a tone corresponding to the designated style-of-rendition module.
- 2. A waveform producing method as claimed in claim 1 wherein said performance event is an event indicative of timing for starting tone generation.
- 3. A waveform producing method as claimed in claim 1 wherein said performance event is an event indicative of timing for starling tone deadening.
- 4. A program for causing a computer to perform a waveform producing method, said waveform producing method comprising:a step of designating, along with a performance event, a style-of-rendition module representative of a style-of-rendition waveform to be produced, said style-of-rendition module including, at an en route point of a time axis of the style-of-rendition waveform, position information indicative of a particular position of the waveform that is to be adjusted to coincide with an occurrence time of the performance event; a step of determining control timing of a style-of-rendition waveform of the style-of-rendition module designated by said step of designating, in accordance with the position information in the designated style-of-rendition module and the designated performance event; and a step of synthesizing, on the basis of the style-of-rendition waveform of the designated style-of-rendition module having said control timing determined by said step of determining, a tone corresponding to the designated style-of-rendition module.
- 5. A machine-readable storage medium containing a group of instructions to cause a computer to implement a waveform producing method, said waveform producing method comprising:a step of designating, along with a performance event, a style-of-rendition module representative of a style-of-rendition waveform to be produced, said style-of-rendition module including, at an en route point of a time axis of the style-of-rendition waveform, position information indicative of a particular position of the waveform that is to be adjusted to coincide with an occurrence time of the performance event; a step of determining control timing of a style-of-rendition waveform of the style-of-rendition module designated by said step of designating, in accordance with the position information in the designated style-of-rendition module and the designated performance event, and a step of synthesizing, on the basis of the style-of-rendition waveform of the designated style-of-rendition module having said control timing determined by said step of determining, a tone corresponding to the designated style-of-rendition module.
- 6. A waveform producing apparatus comprising:a storage device storing style-of-rendition modules each representative of a style-of-rendition waveform, each of said style-of-rendition module including, at an en route point of a time axis of the style-of-rendition waveform, position information indicative of a particular position of the waveform that is to be adjusted to coincide with an occurrence time of a predetermined performance event; a performance information supply device that supplies information for designating a style-of-rendition module representative of a style-of-rendition waveform to be produced, along with a performance event; and processor coupled with said storage device and said performance information supply device, said processor being adapted to: obtain, from said storage device, a style-of-rendition module corresponding to information supplied by said performance information supply device; determine control timing of a style-of-rendition waveform of the style-of-rendition module designated by said step of designating, in accordance with the position information in the designated style-of-rendition module and the designated performance event; and synthesize, on the basis of the style-of-rendition waveform of the designated style-of-rendition module having said control timing determined, a tone corresponding to the designated style-of-rendition module.
