Claims
- 1. A fixture display system comprising:
a frame; one or more baseboards attached to said frame; and one or more display items affixed to said base-board.
- 2. The fixture display system of claim 1 wherein said display items include one or more fixtures.
- 3. The fixture display system of claim 2 wherein the fixtures include one or more of base cabinets, cupboards, shelves, drawers, vanities and countertops, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwave ovens and ranges, shelving systems, bookcases, sinks, toilets, showers, spas, lighting fixtures, safes, fireplaces, desks and office systems
- 4. The fixture display system of claim 1 wherein the frame comprises a top bar, a bottom bar, two side bars and a foot section attached to said bottom bar, wherein said foot section comprises two side bars and a front bar.
- 5. The fixture display system of claim 4 wherein one or more of the display items rest on the foot of the frame.
- 6. The fixture display system of claim 4 wherein the frame further comprises one or more structural support bars.
- 7. The fixture display system of claim 1 further comprising a rotatable end cap attached to said frame by a support means.
- 8. The fixture display system of claim 7 wherein said rotatable end cap comprises two or more display panels.
- 9. The fixture display system of claim 8 wherein said rotatable end cap comprises a foot located at the base of the end cap at the center of axis of the end cap.
- 10. The fixture display system of claim 7 wherein said rotatable end cap comprises a computer station.
- 11. The fixture display system of claim 7 further comprising one or more sets of display drawers or doors attached to the display panels.
- 12. The fixture display system of claim 1 further comprising a means for connecting two or more of said frames at the ends of each of the respective frames.
- 13. The fixture display system of claim 12 wherein two frames are connected at approximate right angles.
- 14. The fixture display system of claim 13 wherein said display items are cabinets or countertops which meet at the connection of the two frames to form a continuous set of cabinets or countertop.
- 15. The fixture display system of claim 1 wherein the frame is six feet, eight feet, or ten feet long.
- 16. The fixture display system of claim 1 further comprising a series of electrical connections situated such as to permit access thereto at various positions within the display.
- 17. A method of displaying cabinets, countertops, and the like comprising the steps of:
forming a structural frame; securing a baseboard to said frame by any conventional securing means; securing one or more display items to the baseboard by any conventional securing means thereby forming a display; transporting the display to the location of sales; and setting the display in the location designated by the location of sales.
- 18. The method of claim 17 further comprising the step of arranging more than one of said displays separately or as a joined unit.
- 19. The method of claim 18 wherein pin frame connectors are used to join two displays together.
- 20. The method of claim 18 wherein the displays are set up back-to-back with the display items facing outward in opposite directions.
- 21. The method of claim 18 wherein the displays are connected together at approximately a right angle.
- 22. The method of claim 18 wherein a total of six displays are arranged such that two sets of two displays are connected at approximate right angles and are placed opposite and inverse to one another and two other display units are placed against the back of the free sides of the connected displays.
- 23. The method of claim 17 further comprising the step of attaching an end cap to the display, wherein the end cap comprises two or more display panels which are connected to the display by a support structure and wherein the end cap rests on a foot at the center of axis of the end cap such as to allow the end cap to rotate the display panels.
- 24. The method of claim 17 wherein angled dolly carts or modified piano movers are used to move the display.
- 25. The method of claim 17 further comprising the step of fitting temporary support brackets about the display items during transportation.
- 26. The method of claim 17 further comprising the step of wrapping the display in a temporary protective wrap during transportation.
- 27. The method of claim 17 further comprising the step of configuring electrical connections to the display unit.
