Claims
- 1. A method for producing a high-density coal-water mixed fuel, comprising the steps of:obtaining pulverized coals having a particle size distribution (mass basis), equal to or less than 100 μm of about 93%, equal to or less than 10 μm of about 15%, and equal to or less than 1 μm of less than 1% by dry-milling a coal, the coals having particles with angles; providing a spheroidizing apparatus pushing and rubbing the said coal particles together and spheroidizing the pulverized coals by scraping off the angles from the particles of the pulverized coals, and; adding said coal particles and a hydrophilic colloid to said apparatus forming a pulverized coal gel and further adding a dispersant to said gel generating superfine particles having a particle size distribution (mass basis), equal to or less than 100 μm of about 100%, equal to or less than 10 μm of about 45%, and equal to or less than 1 μm of about 17%; and adding water to said superfine particles forming a high-density coal-water mixed fuel.
