This application is based upon and claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202110213835.5, filed on Feb. 25, 2021, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
The disclosure relates to the field of video technologies, and in particular, to editing videos with respect to live broadcast videos.
As a popular Internet culture in recent years, live video broadcasts enable anchor and audience to have real-time video interactions. However, due to the real-time nature of the live broadcasts, users may not be able to watch a complete live broadcast video or edit highlight clips separately for derivative creation.
The present disclosure provides systems, methods, non-transitory computer-readable media, and apparatuses for editing a video based on a live broadcast video.
According to some arrangements of the disclosure, a method for editing the video includes classifying video clips to be edited according to live broadcast sessions and displaying a classification of each live broadcast session on a first user interface, in response to receiving selection of a target live broadcast session on the first user interface, displaying a second user interface corresponding to the target live broadcast session, video clips corresponding to the target live broadcast session are displayed on the second user interface, and in response to receiving selection of a target video clip on the second user interface, editing the target video clip.
According to some arrangements of the disclosure, a device for editing the video includes a display module, an input module configured to receive a user input, and a control module configured to classify video clips to be edited according to live broadcast sessions and control the display module to display a classification of each live broadcast session on a first user interface, control the display module to display a second user interface corresponding to a target live broadcast session based on selection of the target live broadcast session on the first user interface by a user, wherein video clips corresponding to the target live broadcast session are displayed on the second user interface, and edit a target video clip based on selection of the target video clip on the second user interface by the user.
According to some arrangements of the disclosure, an electronic device includes at least one processor and at least one memory storing computer-executable instructions, the computer-executable instructions, when being run by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to carry out one or more methods for editing a video as described herein.
According to some arrangements of the disclosure, a computer-readable storage medium storing instructions which, when being run by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to carry out one or more methods for editing a video as described herein.
According to some arrangements of the disclosure, instructions in a computer program product are run by at least one processor in an electronic device to carry out one or more methods for editing a video as described herein.
It should be noted that the above general description and the following detailed description are merely example and explanatory and should not be construed as limiting of the disclosure.
The accompanying drawings, which are incorporated in and constitute a part of this disclosure, illustrate arrangements consistent with the disclosure and, together with the description, serve to explain the principles of the disclosure, and do not expose any improper limitation on the disclosure.
In order to enable those of ordinary skilled in the art to better understand the technical solutions of the disclosure, the technical solutions in arrangements of the disclosure will be described clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The following description with reference to the accompanying drawings is provided to help comprehensively understand arrangements of the disclosure defined by claims and their equivalents. Various specific details are included to help understanding, but these details are only to be regarded as illustrative. Therefore, those ordinary skilled in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications can be made to the arrangements described herein without departing from the scope and spirit of the disclosure. In addition, for clarity and conciseness, descriptions of well-known functions and structures are omitted.

It should be noted that the terms “first”, “second” and so on in the specification, claims, and the above-mentioned drawings of the disclosure are used to distinguish similar objects, and are not necessarily used to describe a specific order or sequence. It should be understood that the data used in this way can be interchanged under appropriate circumstances so that the arrangements of the disclosure described herein can be implemented in an order other than those illustrated or described herein. The implementations set forth in the following example arrangements do not represent all implementations consistent with the disclosure. Instead, they are merely examples of apparatuses and methods consistent with some aspects of the disclosure as recited in the appended claims.
In the related art, when a video editing is performed, a video clip that can be edited is directly shown to a user, and when the user selects a certain video clip, it pops up on a video editing page. However, when the user has a lot of live broadcast-related video clips to be edited, the existing display method is rather messy, and the user cannot determine which live broadcast session the current video clip is related to. In addition, in popping the video up to the corresponding editing page each time the video clip is selected, when a preview of to-be edited videos is required, each video clip needs to be selected one by one, which causes degrades user experience and is inefficient.
In view of such problems, the present disclosure provides methods for optimizing a live broadcast editing flow, in which the video clips corresponding to each live broadcast session are displayed in a form of a folder, and an overall process of the live broadcast editing is completed with minimal pages. Hereinafter, according to various arrangements of the disclosure, methods and devices of the disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to
According to the arrangements of the disclosure, the videos to be edited are displayed in a unit of a live broadcast session, so that the user can more quickly find the contents of the required live broadcast session.
Referring back to
For example, the second user interface can be displayed by selecting the folder of a certain live broadcast session by the user. For example, in response to the user selecting a folder of a live broadcast session, a side frame can be slid out from a side (such as the right side) of the first user interface, as the second user interface. In another example, in response to the user selecting the folder of the live broadcast session, the second user interface corresponding to the selected folder completely or partially covers the first user interface. However, the above display manners are only examples, and the disclosure is not limited thereto.
Referring to
In
In response to the user selecting one folder, the live broadcast video in this folder can be displayed on the upper part 301 of the second user interface 300. In response to the user switching between multiple folders (that is, multiple pieces of live broadcast data), the switched-to video contents can be displayed on the upper part 301 of the second user interface 300 accordingly, so as to facilitate the user's browsing.
Referring to
In some arrangements, in response to the user selecting a certain folder on the first user interface 200, the second user interface 500 covers the first user interface, and various information related to the selected folder is displayed in the first area 501, including the complete video of the live broadcast session corresponding to the folder and detailed information of the live broadcast. Various video clips related to the live broadcast session are displayed in the second area 502, including video clips generated through automatic recognition and video clips manually edited, which is convenient for the user to view. The editing page for editing the video is displayed in the third area 503.
Referring back to
For example, in response to the user selecting a certain video clip on the second user interface 300, the third user interface for editing the video clip can be displayed. For example, the third user interface can be displayed in the form of a modal pop-up window, as shown in
Referring to
For another example, in the case of the second user interface 500, in response to the user selecting a certain video clip in the second area 502, the selected video clip can be placed in the third area 503, that is, the editing page for editing the selected video clip is displayed in the third area 503. The user can edit the selected video clip by operating various function buttons on the editing page in the third area 503.
According to the arrangements of the disclosure, in the entire process of editing the video by the user, not only the number of the editing page jumps is reduced, but also the user can more easily locate the video clip desired to be edited, thus effectively shortening the use time, and improving the editing efficiency.
