Claims
- 1. A method for registering an asymmetrical femur implant having a shaft and a collar, said method comprising:
ascertaining a position of a shaft axis associated with the shaft; and ascertaining a position of a collar axis associated with the collar.
- 2. The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein the position of at least one of (i) the shaft axis and (ii) the position of the collar axis is ascertained using at least one reference marker attached to the femur implant.
- 3. The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein the position of at least one of (i) the shaft axis and (ii) the position of the collar axis is ascertained using at least one reference star attached to the femur implant.
- 4. The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein the position of at least one of (i) the shaft axis and (ii) the position of the collar axis is ascertained using a pointer instrument (1).
- 5. The method as set forth in claim 4, wherein at least one marker is attached to the pointer instrument.
- 6. The method as set forth in claim 4, wherein at least one reference star is attached to the pointer instrument.
- 7. The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein the position of at least one of (i) the shaft axis and (ii) the position of the collar axis is ascertained using a referencing element onto which the femur implant is set.
- 8. The method as set forth in claim 8, wherein at least one marker is attached to the referencing element.
- 9. The method as set forth in claim 8, wherein at least on reference star is attached to the referencing element.
- 10. The method as set forth in claim 2, further comprising navigating the registered femur implant.
- 11. A computer program which, run on a computer or loaded onto a computer, carries out the steps as set forth in claim 1.
- 12. A storage medium or a computer program product comprising the program as set forth in claim 11.
- 13. A device for registering an asymmetrical femur implant connected to at least one reference marker, said device comprising:
a detection device for detecting a spatial position of the at least one reference marker; a database in which a geometry of the asymmetrical femur implant is stored; and a processor for ascertaining the spatial position of the asymmetrical femur implant.
- 14. A femur implant comprising:
at least one fastening device for fastening at least one marker or reference star to the femur implant.
- 15. The femur implant as set forth in claim 14, wherein the fastening device is formed to non-rotationally attach the at least one marker or reference star to the femur implant.
- 16. The femur implant as set forth in claim 14, further comprising a reference region adapted to receive a pointer instrument.
- 17. The femur implant as set forth in claim 14, wherein the femur implant is designed modularly.
- 18. A system for registering the femur implant as set forth in claim 16, said system comprising:
a pointer instrument; and a referencing element.
