Claims
- 1. A method to communicate search results between a first user and a second user, over a communications network, the method including:
generating a first search result set responsive to a search request; communicating the first search result set to the first user, over the communications network; identifying a second search result set as having been selected by the first user from the first search result set; and communicating the second search result set to a second user that is identified by the first user.
- 2. The method of claim 1, including identifying a third search result set being selected by the second user from the second search result set.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the first search result set is generated in response to at least one of a search input and an automated search.
- 4. The method of claim 1, wherein generating the first search result set includes generating a user interface to communicate the first search result set wherein the user interface is a markup language document.
- 5. The method of claim 4, wherein the markup language document includes a plurality of links, each associated with a respective listing included in the first search result set.
- 6. The method of claim 4, wherein the user interface includes a textual description of an item included in the first search result set.
- 7. The method of claim 6, wherein the user interface includes a visual representation of the item included in the first search result set.
- 8. The method of claim 7, wherein the user interface provides a selection function associated with each item included in the first search result set that is selectable by the first user to include an associated item in the second search result set.
- 9. The method of claim 8, wherein the selection function includes an at least one of a radio button and a checkbox.
- 10. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving a user selection of the second search result set further includes receiving a message that includes an address of the second user.
- 11. The method of claim 10, wherein the message is selected from a message group consisting of a default message, an edited default message, a created message.
- 12. The method of claim 10, wherein the address is selected from an address group consisting of a default address, an edited default address and an input address.
- 13. A machine-readable medium storing a sequence of instructions that, when executed by a machine to:
generate a first search result set, over a communication network, responsive to a search request; communicate the first search result set, over the communication network, to a first user; receive a second search result set from the first user, the second search result set being selected by the first user from the first search result set; and communicate the second search result set, over the communication network, to a second user that is identified by the first user.
- 14. A system to communicate search results between a first user and a second user over a communications network, the system including:
search server to generate a first search result set, over a communication network, set responsive to a search request; a communications server to communicate, over the communications network, the first search result set to the first user and to receive a second search result set from the first user; and a processing server to identify the second search result set as having been selected by the first user from the first search result set, wherein the communications server is further to communicate the second search result set, over the communications network, to a second user that is identified by the first user.
- 15. The system of claim 14, including the processing server to identify a third search result set being selected by the second user from the second search result set.
- 16. The system of claim 14, wherein the search server generates the first search result set in response to an at least one of a search input and an automated search.
- 17. The system of claim 14, wherein the search server generates the first search result set to include a user interface to communicate the first search result set wherein the user interface is a markup language document.
- 18. The system of claim 17, wherein the markup language document includes a plurality of links, each associated with a respective listing included in the first search result set.
- 19. The system of claim 17, wherein the user interface includes a textual description of an item included in the first search result set.
- 20. The system of claim 19, wherein the user interface includes a visual representation of the item included in the first search result set.
- 21. The system of claim 17, wherein the user interface provides a selection function associated with each item included in the first search result set that is selectable by the first user to include an associated item in the second search result set.
- 22. The system of claim 21, wherein the selection function includes an at least one of a radio button and a checkbox.
- 23. The system of claim 14, wherein the communications server that receives a user selection of the second search result set includes receiving a message that includes an address of the second user.
- 24. The system of claim 23, wherein the message is selected from a message group consisting of a default message, an edited default message, a created message.
- 25. The system of claim 23, wherein the address is selected from an address group consisting of a default address, an edited default address and an input address.
