- 1. A method for graphically displaying data from a plurality of selected data sets on a computer system including a display, each selected data set having a plurality of values corresponding to a plurality of parameter values, the method comprising the steps of:(a) determining, for a plurality of systems, a plurality of average values for a plurality of intervals for each selected data set, each of the plurality of average values being determined from a portion of the plurality of values, the portion of the plurality of values corresponding to an interval, each of the plurality of intervals including a portion of the plurality of parameter values; and (b) plotting, for a plurality of systems, the average value for each selected data set for each of the plurality of intervals on the display, the average value being depicted as a first symbol.
- 2. A method for graphically displaying data comprising the steps of:(a) determining for a plurality of systems a plurality of average values for a plurality of intervals for each selected data set, each of the plurality of average values being determined from a portion of a plurality of values, the portion of the plurality of values corresponding to an interval, each of the plurality of intervals including a portion of a plurality of parameter values; and (b) plotting on a single graph for the plurality of systems the average value for each selected data set for each of the plurality of intervals on the display, the average value being depicted as a first symbol.
- 3. A computer-readable medium containing a program comprising the instructions for:(a) determining for a plurality of systems a plurality of average values for a plurality of intervals for each selected data set, each of the plurality of average values being determined from a portion of a plurality of values, the portion of the plurality of values corresponding to an interval, each of the plurality of intervals including a portion of a plurality of parameter values; and (b) plotting in a single graph for a plurality of systems the average value of each selected data set for each of the plurality of intervals on the display, the average value being depicted as a first symbol.
- 4. A method comprising:(a) determining for a plurality of systems a plurality of average values for a plurality of intervals for each selected data set, each of the plurality of average values being determined from a portion of a plurality of values, the portion of the plurality of values corresponding to an interval, each of the plurality of intervals including a portion of a plurality of parameter values; (b) plotting, for a plurality of systems, the average value for each selected data set for each of the plurality of intervals on a display, the average value being depicted as a first symbol; (c) determining, for a plurality of systems, the maximum and minimum average values for each of the plurality of intervals; and (d) plotting the maximum and minimum average values, for a plurality of systems, on the display.
- 5. A program product comprising:a computer readable medium containing computer readable code modules for (a) determining for a plurality of systems a plurality of average values for a plurality of intervals for each selected data set, each of the plurality of average values being determined from a portion of a plurality of values, the portion of the plurality of values corresponding to an interval, each of the plurality of intervals including a portion of a plurality of parameter values; (b) plotting, for a plurality of systems, the average value for each selected data set for each of the plurality of intervals on a display, the average value being depicted as a first symbol; (c) determining, for a plurality of systems, the maximum and minimum average values for each of the plurality of intervals; and (d) plotting, for a plurality of systems, on the display the maximum and minimum values.
- 6. A computer-readable medium containing a program for graphically displaying data from a plurality of selected data sets on a computer system including a display, each selected data set having a plurality of values corresponding to a plurality of parameter values, the program comprising the instructions for:(a) determining, for a plurality of systems, a plurality of average values for a plurality of intervals for each selected data set, each of the plurality of average values being determined from a portion of the plurality of values, the portion of the plurality of values corresponding to an interval, each of the plurality of intervals including a portion of the plurality of parameter values; and (b) plotting, for a plurality of systems, the average value of each selected data set for each of the plurality of intervals on the display, the average value being depicted as a first symbol.
