Claims
- 1. A system for ultrasonically end-sealing food product packaging, said system including:
a rotary anvil; and, a rotating ultrasonically activated end-sealing horn operably positioned with respect to said rotary anvil, said ultrasonically activated end-sealing horn and rotary anvil operating in conjunction to ultrasonically end-seal said food product packaging passing between said ultrasonically activated end-sealing horn and rotary anvil.
- 2. The system of claim 1 further including said ultrasonic end-sealing horn having four edges.
- 3. The system of claim 1 further including said rotary anvil having four edges.
- 4. A method for ultrasonically end-sealing food product packaging, said method including the step of:
end-sealing food product packaging by passing said food product packaging between an operably connected rotary anvil and an ultrasonically activated horn.
- 5. The method of claim 4 further including end-sealing food product packaging by passing said food product packaging between an operably connected rotary anvil and a rotating ultrasonically activated horn.
- 6. The method of claim 4 further including the food product packaging is continuously fed into said ultrasonic food product packaging end-sealing unit.
- 7. The method of claim 4 further including a confectionery food product.
