Claims
- 1. A method for controlling a refrigeration unit to permit concurrent maintenance on an evaporator, comprising:
deactivating a humidity sensor in an evaporator housing that contains an evaporator block in thermal communication with a logic module, the logic module being mounted to a first side of a circuit board; thermostatically controlling a heater mounted to a second side of the circuit board to control a temperature of the circuit board to a higher than normal temperature, said higher than normal temperature being sufficient to prevent condensation from forming on the circuit board when the evaporator housing is opened to ambient.
- 2. The method of claim 1 further comprising, producing an alarm if the evaporator housing is opened for a period of time in excess of a selected limit.
