Claims
- 1. A device for installing a cable in ducts, using a fluid, wherein the fluid at operational pressure and operational temperature applied at installation of the duct is in a liquid state and at an ambient pressure ambient temperature prevailing at a location of the installation is in a gaseous state, the device comprising:means to couple a flow of the fluid to an input end of the duct in order to fill the duct with the fluid; means to introduce the cable into the input end of the duct, and operating means to pressurize the fluid to lower an actual temperature of the fluid in order to bring the fluid to the liquid state, said operating means comprising a stock vessel, or a compressor or cooling means, which compressor or cooling means are coupled to the input end of the duct.
- 2. Device according to claim 1 comprising a return pipe connecting the end located opposite the input end of the duct to an input of the compressor.
- 3. Device according to claim 1 wherein the stock vessel is coupled to the compressor.
- 4. Device according to claim 2 wherein the stock vessel is coupled to the return pipe in the vicinity of the compressor, and further comprising means to pressurize the liquid in the vessel.
- 5. Device according to claim 2 wherein the stock vessel is coupled, by way of an element capable of being closed off, to a return pipe in the vicinity of an end thereof located opposite the input end of the duct.
