Claims
- 1. A method for molding an end of a long resin molded article, said long resin molded article having been obtained by extrusion molding and having a design surface and an attachment surface extended in a longitudinal direction of the long resin molded article, said attachment surface being attached to other parts, said method comprising the steps of:
heating an end portion of said long resin molded article so as to soften the end portion of said long resin molded article; pressing the design surface of said heated end portion so as to stretch resin on a side of the design surface thereby forming an inclined surface on said end portion, whereby said end portion is inclined from said design surface at said end portion to said attachment surface at said end portion along said inclined surface; and pressing the attachment surface of said heated end portion so as to form a cavity on the attachment surface and stretch resin on a side of the attachment surface, wherein the resin on the side of the design surface is stretched to a substantially equal degree to the resin on the side of attachment surface.
- 2. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of setting within said cavity so as to fill said cavity a convex bonding piece having a shape corresponding to the shape of said cavity.
- 3. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of longitudinally embedding a metal insert in said long resin molded article.
- 4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the heating step is provided by high frequency induction heating.
- 5. The method according to claim 3, further comprising the step of sealing a portion of said end portion of said long resin molded article corresponding to an end portion of said insert with a sealing material before the heating step.
- 6. A method for molding an end of a long resin molded article, said long resin molded article having been obtained by extrusion molding and having a design surface and an attachment surface extended in a longitudinal direction of the long resin molded article, said attachment surface being attached to other parts, said method comprising the steps of:
heating an end portion of said long resin molded article so as to soften the end portion of said long resin molded article; embedding a piece having a convex surface in the attachment surface of said heated end portion while forming a cavity on the attachment surface so as to bond said convex surface of said piece to said cavity; and pressing the design surface of said heated end portion thereby forming an inclined surface on said end portion, whereby said end portion is inclined from said design surface at said end portion to said attachment surface at said end portion along said inclined surface, wherein a shape of said inclined surface is substantially same as a shape of said convex surface of said piece.
- 7. The method according to claim 6, further comprising the step of longitudinally embedding a metal insert in said long resin molded article.
- 8. The method according to claim 6, wherein the heating step is provided by high frequency induction heating.
- 9. The method according to claim 7, further comprising the step of sealing a portion of said end portion of said long resin molded article corresponding to an end portion of said insert with a sealing material before the heating step.
- 10. A method for molding an end of a long resin molded article, said long resin molded article having been obtained by extrusion molding and having a design surface and an attachment surface extended in a longitudinal direction of the long resin molded article, said attachment surface being attached to other parts, said method comprising the steps of:
forming a lighten portion at least in said attachment surface of an end portion of said long resin molded aritcle so that said lightened portion extends in a longitudinal direction of said long resin molded article; heating said end portion of said long resin molded article so as to soften the end portion of said long resin molded article; and pressing said heated end portion of said long resin molded article so that said end portion is inclined from the design surface to the attachment surface thereof.
- 11. The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of longitudinally embedding a metal insert in said long resin molded article.
- 12. The method according to claim 10, wherein the heating step is provided by high frequency induction heating.
- 13. The method according to claim 11, further comprising the step of sealing a portion of said end portion of said long resin molded article corresponding to an end portion of said insert with a sealing material before the heating step.
- 14. A method for molding an end of a long resin molded article comprising the steps of:
extrusion molding said long resin molded article having a metal insert longitudinally continuously embedded; cutting said long resin molded article into a predetermined length; sealing a portion of an end portion of said cut long resin molded article corresponding to an end portion of said insert with a sealing material; heating said end portion of said long resin molded article; and pressing said heated end portion of said long resin molded article to a predetermined shape.
- 15. The method according to claim 14, further comprising the step of longitudinally embedding a metal insert in said long resin molded article.
- 16. The method according to claim 14, wherein the heating step is provided by high frequency induction heating.
- 17. The method according to claim 15, further comprising the step of sealing a portion of said end portion of said long resin molded article corresponding to an end portion of said insert with a sealing material before the heating step.
- 18. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of cutting the end portion of the long resin molded article obliquely before the heating step.
- 19. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of setting free surplus resin generated at the pressing step.
- 20. The method according to claim 6, further comprising the step of cutting the end portion of the long resin molded article obliquely before the heating step.
- 21. The method according to claim 6, further comprising the step of setting free surplus resin generated at the pressing step.
- 22. The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of setting free surplus resin generated at the pressing step.
- 23. The method according to claim 14, further comprising the step of setting free surplus resin generated at the pressing step.
