Claims
- 1. A method for obtaining informed consent from a patient prior to ophthalmologic surgery comprising fitting over eyeglasses worn by said patient a lens or lenses whose field of vision has been modified to simulate a visual anomaly which may occur as a result of said surgery and then obtaining informed consent from said patient.
- 2. A method for obtaining informed consent from a patient prior to ophthalmologic surgery comprising fitting a pair of eyeglasses worn by said patient with slide-behind eyeglasses, eyeglasses having a clip or eyeglasses having a hinged clip whose field of vision has been modified to simulate a visual anomaly which may occur as a result of said surgery and then obtaining informed consent from said patient.
- 3. A method for obtaining informed consent from a patient prior to ophthalmologic surgery comprising fitting over eyeglasses worn by said patient a loupe having a lens whose field of vision has been modified to simulate a visual anomaly which may occur as a result of said surgery and then obtaining informed consent from said patient.
- 4. A method for obtaining informed consent from a patient prior to ophthalmologic surgery comprising fitting over eyeglasses worn by said patient one or more modified thin transparent film press-on's whose field of vision has been modified to simulate a visual anomaly which may occur as a result of said surgery and then obtaining informed consent from said patient.
