Claims
- 1. A method for controlling the operation of a pitch still comprising the steps of:
- a. simultaneously measuring the viscosity and temperature of a sample of the pitch at a changing but exactly known temperature;
- b. comparing the measured value with a predetermined correlation of viscosity and temperature;
- c. adjusting the parameters of the pitch still operation in response to the comparison.
