- 2. A method for treating Alzheimer's disease, comprising administering to a subject an effective amount of 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, such that Alzheimer's disease is treated or prevented.
- 3. A method for treating Alzheimer's disease, comprising administering to a subject having Alzheimer's disease an effective amount of 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, such that Alzheimer's disease is treated.
- 4. A method for treating Alzheimer's disease, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, such that Alzheimer's disease is treated or prevented.
- 5. A method for treating Alzheimer's disease, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of an agent such that Alzheimer's disease is treated or prevented in said subject by 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid or a salt thereof.
- 6. A method for treating Alzheimer's disease, comprising administering to a subject an effective amount of an agent such that Alzheimer's disease is treated or prevented in said subject by 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid or a salt thereof.
- 7. The method of claim 2, wherein Alzheimer's disease is prevented in said subject.
- 8. The method of claim 4, wherein Alzheimer's disease is prevented in said subject.
- 9. The method of claim 5, wherein Alzheimer's disease is prevented in said subject.
- 10. The method of claim 6, wherein Alzheimer's disease is prevented in said subject.
- 11. The method of any one of claims 2-4, 7 and 8, wherein 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid is administered to said subject.
- 12. The method of any one of claims 5, 6, 9 and 10, wherein said subject is treated by 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid.
- 13. The method of any one of claims 2-4, 7 and 8, wherein a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid is administered to said subject.
- 14. The method of any one of claims 5, 6, 9 and 10, wherein said subject is treated by a salt of 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid.
- 15. The method of claim 13, wherein said pharmaceutically acceptable salt is a sodium salt of 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid.
- 16. The method of claim 14, wherein said salt is a sodium salt of 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid.
- 17. The method of any one of claims 2-4, 7 and 8, wherein said 3-amino-1-propane-sulfonic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is administered to said subject in a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
- 18. The method of any one of claims 5, 6, 9 and 10, wherein said agent is administered to said subject in a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
- 19. The method of claim 11, wherein 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid is administered to said subject in a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
- 20. The method of claim 12, wherein the agent is administered to said subject in a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
- 21. The method of claim 13, wherein said pharmaceutically acceptable salt of 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid is administered to said subject in a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
- 22. The method of claim 14, wherein the agent is administered to said subject in a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
- 23. The method of claim 15, wherein said sodium salt of 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid is administered to the subject in a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
- 24. The method of claim 16, wherein the agent is administered to said subject in a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
- 25. The method of any one of claims 2-6, wherein said administering step is oral administration.
- 26. The method of claim 7, wherein said administering step is oral administration.
- 27. The method of claim 8, wherein said administering step is oral administration.
