Claims
- 1. A method for treating a cancer excluding adenocarcinoma, the cancer being selected from the group consisting of epithelioma, glioma, sarcoma, melanoma, lymphoma and leukemia, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof and suffering from said cancer, a pharmaceutically effective amount of
at least one sulfoquinovosylacylglycerol compound represented by formula (1): 19 wherein R101 represents an acyl residue of an unsaturated higher fatty acid, and R102 represents a hydrogen atom, and/or at least one pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
- 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein said R101 of formula (1) is represented by formula:
- 3. The method according to claim 2, wherein for R, the number of carbon atoms is selected from odd numbers from the group consisting of 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23 and 25.

- 10. The method according to claim 1, wherein the cancer is melanoma.
- 11. The method according to claim 1, wherein the cancer is lymphoma.
- 12. The method according to claim 1, wherein the cancer is leukemia.
- 13. A method for treating an adenocarcinoma cancer excluding colon cancer, lung cancer and gastric cancer, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof and suffering from said adenocarcinoma cancer, a pharmaceutically effective amount of
at least one sulfoquinovosylacylglycerol compound represented by formula (1): 20 wherein R101 represents an acyl residue of an unsaturated higher fatty acid, and R102 represents a hydrogen atom, and/or at least one pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
