Claims
- 1. A method of and apparatus configured to enable the preservation and recovery of in-progress developments and changes as they are made in a system for development of content in the event of a process or system failure, comprising,
retrieving in-progress data developments and changes while they are created and storing them in a cache memory; copying cache memory contents into a memory-mapped file, providing a redundant location for cache data; in the event of a failure, recovering the cache information from a file; flushing the memory location from the memory mapped file as needed by the system; and recovering and restarting the actual process or system after such a failure.
