Claims
- 1. A process for preparing an insulated metal wire with a metal-coated, adherent sheath of a polymer consisting essentially of the following repeat units: ##STR4## wherein n is 4 or 5; X is from 0.01 to 0.50; and Ar is at least one divalent aromatic radical selected from the group consisting of 1,3-phenylene, 1-methyl-2,4-phenylene and 3,4'-oxydiphenylene, comprising heating the bare wire to a temperature in excess of the Tg of the polymer and melt-coating the wire with the polymer.
